Mark, I agree, we won't change other drivers, we're all in too much of a hurry. Don't trust the driver aids to detect bikes either, we've got to ride for us and the other vehicles on the road or trail.
The family segment was fun. I don't have any family left except Ms Wolf, it's good to see people with that easy laughter.

I live in Michigan in the United States. As of yesterday there have been 14 motorcycle fatalities in 14 days in the state.
I've had an "oh fuck" moment and got to walk away with a bit of injury. What works for me now, is more lights. Running lights allow all to see. Hi vis is so Done to death now and will blend into all the other hi vis signs and signals. I have experience first hand how lighting works better than hi vis. Keep up the great work guys, keep riding and if you ain't riding, keep on keeping on.👍

You know what’s good? CFMoto 450 MT for $9000 and you get 400km a tank, so blows the Zero away and also carrying a bladder as you talked about you could get 500km easy, this bike has blown up and selling like hotcakes🤟🏼

Talking about taxing us to death, I have just come back from Germany. A carton of beer is 16 Aussie dollars, a bottle of Vodka between 15 and 20, a pack of cigarettes 13!!
Husaberg used "ready to race" before KTM bought them out.

Driver distractions are a real thing and they are a big thing. I went passed a car once and the lady's kids were bouncing around on the back seat and the woman was reading a junk mail catalogue across the steering wheel. . . Seriously !
I'm sorry for your loss, mate. I've been riding since the '80s and it is no surprise at all that the incident was one where a non-motorcycle technically did the wrong thing. But, in line with the training I started with Stay Upright "way way back then" - and continue to exercise as habit - you still have to ride such that at any intersection you have GOT to assume that they don't see you and expect them to pull out in front of you. (that is very shorthand for a lot of techniques and understanding and approach). Even in Europe (i live here atm- since 2017), where drivers are super aware and respectful of motorcyclists, I have still had to perform some "spirited manoeuvering" to avoid getting collected. Moral of story (IMHO) - train and train, make excellent stuff habit - and you can then rely upon the fact that you are super likely to see/expect/anticipate the problem that would have killed you otherwise.....it's the price we pay for our beautiful motorcycles....Cheers to you all!
Also I would like to add, Ready to race was originally from Husaberg and KTM took that slogan when they took over Husaberg and Husqvarna, so this is offensive to Husaberg owners lol 😂
Also KTM bought Husaberg and then killed the brand off. How very rude!

@@EddyOtway KTM, Husky & gasgas are just three different colored KTM's...Husaberg were 4 stroke specialist's, they never made a 2 stroke it was just a blue KTM.
Gents you are missing the point re. Cigarette tax. The burden on the health system is far more expensive. At $136 billion and 20,000 deaths annually. Which every smoker accesses for free when you get sick. I wish all the best of luck. I love the pod cast.

Could be a liquid containment one. They used to make a 12l TPU bladder.

Sorry for your loss however I try to ride like I am invisible. We riders need to ride like our safety is our responsibility and in the end life comes with no guarantees. Ride aggressively defensive and road rules do not protect you in fact they sometimes make you more vulnerable.
