incredibly helpful! thank you SUPER much!
You're very welcome!
Thank you! Your video really helped me!
Glad it helped!
Hello, I have a problem with meshing: when I use cyclic region, meshing builds the whole model, not just a segment, how can I fix this?
I really like your video, it's very helpful. I want to ask you how to show the complete model when viewing the results?. When I check the results, it only shows part of the model as it was when imported. please help me !
Click on symmetry their should be option to view the complete model by changing the angle.
It was a good tutorial sir. Please make a video on translational periodicity in Ansys Fluent
Thank you for appreciation !
i have this error. what could be the reason?
Hello! Congratulations to the work and thank you to share. Did you try to create a Campbell's diagram to a sector model with cyclic summetry? I've tried to a centrifugal compressor but without success.
We have not plotted Campbell diagram for this. If you need more information on Campbell check our other modal analysis video on channel.
Thank you so much for your share. Can you share a tutorial about alternative of cyclic symmetry for non planar cut boundaries? I want to use path and surface postprocess options with cyclic parts but it is not allowed in ansys mechanical. So i need to use apdl for this.

Thank you, it was extremely helpful and interesting! I was wondering if there is a similar possibility for a CFD simulation?
Thanks, not sure !
Hi please can you do step by step CFD for exhaust fan simulation and Fan rotation animation for air velocity and
At present, we are focusing of FEA only. Might in future we will work on CFD part too.
Sir, I see that once you clicked on Total deformation, the whole geometry is displayed. But when I'm trying to do the same, 90 degrees model is only visible. How do I make changes to view the full model after applying cyclic symmetry condition?
I'm using Ansys 2019 R3 student version
Check your symmetry definition. Check your cylindrical coordinate system while defining symmetry. If might be due to this. It should show 360 view of your model.
Yeah those settings are correct. I found the solution. I have to enter expansion value for cyclic display in solution tab. Thanks for your reply.
@@TravelJalwa Wow.... thanks so much for this comment. I was going crazy trying to figure out how to expand my results.....
@@TravelJalwa Solution-Cyclic solution display-0(will make it program controlled)
how can do it in external flow, ım confused about enclosure
It's FEA video not CFD
Hello,
Is there any way you could share the geometry file?
Okay. We will try to upload this geometry on our blogpost like other geometry..www.graspengineering.com/category/design/fea-cad-geometry/
I cannot see the whole geometry after the calculation is done. May you suggest anything to me please?
You can visit symmetry details and there change the parameter for revolution of the view.
