Hey ScreenCrush and friends, my personal theory about this Superman movie is that we'll have two teams. One employed by Luthor and the other being led by Superman, a team that kills and a team that doesn't. I think Superman will be the newest up and comer with both teams trying to recruit him. When Luthor fails to blackmail and employ Superman to his team, we're brought to the climax of the teams fighting against each other with the conclusion being the Justice League refuses to kill their opponents and offer them a spot on the team. Luthor ends up in prison where he begins the set up of the Legion of Doom. This could be done very organically with Lois, Jimmy, and Clark reporting different villains being captured/dealt with by Luthor's team and Terrific's team.
I disagree with The Superman theme is the greatest super hero theme of all time, I like the X-men theme from the animated series in the early Nineties.

d - Superman of Earth one and two against one another, must include the line "You can't be from a perfect world, because a perfect world doesn't need a Superman."
e - Superman Vs Wonder Woman Vs Maxwell Lord when the Lasso reveals the only way to stop Max and WW doesn't hesitate but for a few amazing seconds.
f - Black Lantern story arc with insight into the emotional spectrum of WW being almost all love and Deadshot being almost no colors at all.
4 - Larfleeze. Nuff said.
I would like a Superman movie where he loses his powers and has to remain good , not Superman 2 evil Superman, but has to still show people the way and stay helpful fighting injustice with no powers , like Batman. Just a regular guy fighting crime .
Great synopsis!!
The darkseid disrespect isn’t appreciated
The trinity with a group of “no names” would be dope
Great discussion!
I would straight up LOVE a Superman For All Seasons adaptation! It gets to the heart of what made Clark a hero.
Wow he caused the death of the video too.
What a cliff hanger
The fact that gunn is naming this movie superman is absolutely huge . No other directors or creator had the balls to do its representation of a rebirth ,a calling back to the original days! Im very interested in what will happen next.
My theory is simple. the symbol is a legacy symbol from Alex Ross. that Kingdom Come story was about the past the legacy. like a WWE Belt has legacy. I believe the movie will be about Supermans deeds and his greatest chalange yet. so moving forward we will have his legacy
Honestly…if they started with something like a Kingdom Come arc..that would be 🔥🔥🔥🔥
How about Superman VS. THE LEGION OF DOOM and Superman enlists other Superheroes to help 😳😳😳😳🎉🎉🎉🎉
I’m very excited, David Corenswet will be my Superman
Also, Michael Rosenbaum is hands down the best Lex Luthor. He was a beautiful combination of all it. Billionaire, mad scientist, politician.
The problem I had with him is he felt too volatile and not in control. That's one of the things Lex has, supreme control. The only reason I could overlook it is because it was young Lex.
@nobodyknowsforsure I think that is why he was such a good Lex. By season 10, in the finale, he was calm, cool, and collected. Such a great arch.
Seeing the Snyder cult in shambles over this image is funny
Hilarious. They went from saying the symbol looked horrible to saying that Gunn stole Cavill's symbol lmao. They see how much people like it and they can't friggin stand it.
What’s with the Luthe-orr pronunciation with the hard “or”? Is a bit of a Han Solo being Hahn va Harn situation but more annoying.
im calling it now, its gonna be a christmas movie. Lex Luthor is the Grinch and Superman is Cindy Lou Who
No Ryan, YOU'RE WRONG! If all it takes is ONE slip up to turn heroes bad they they were never really good in the first place, never really well-adjusted. People who are actually Sane don't just lose it all at in one go, that's not how people function.
I think we are getting a version of "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice & the American Way?"
They should not use the old theme. Maybe just reference the Nile chills factor
THANKS for this!!!!
The video cuts off at the end.
Was there more to the end of the video? Felt like it just cuts off
for a while i wasn't paying attention to the video, but there is a part right about the middle where the audio and video are not in synch. but good stuff
MR. TERRIFIC isn't just an Olympic caliber athlete. He's arguably the smartest human on the planet (like Marvel's Reed Richards).
Ted Lasso + all powerful = Superman.
It would be pretty cool to see a reverse Kingdom Come
If they do ever do a "Kingdom Come" storyline in the DCU, perfect choice for the older Batman would be...Ben Affleck.
is there a part 2? what just happaned? where is the rest?
This movie has huge potential. Let James Gunn cook everyone
