i walked up to a dog and it wagged its tail and i started petting it and later when it was laying down i went to pet me and it was a wake and when i started petting it it bit me :(

Oh wow verry verry verry good. i got a border Collie He not like attention and loud People manny proaching him like He is a baby but He not like that He only like calm People manny Walk Straight to him verry Wrong but i alway say i not ask you to attention my Dog!!! buy your own if you want do that.
he is wrong. a dog on a leash with the owner can still attack you. most owners never take their dog through even 1 obedience class. and you believe what an ignorant person tells you? do what professional rehabilitators of dangerous dogs say ' leave another person's dog alone' .... you do NOT need to pet a strange dog. accept that a dog may bite you if handled and simply do NOT handle another person's property.
