How can't express enough how amazingly awesome Cross Fire is. We had what I consider a terrible infestation. I was seeing no less then 20 a day prior to treatment. I cleaned everything and vacuumed like crazy before applying cross fire. We are 3 weeks in and have seen a total of 4. Doing a follow up treatment this week. It is worth the 40 bucks this stuff is actually priceless for the results it provides.

After showing the Orkin guy where I found the bugs and the ones I saved to show him, he said he didn't see any pests anywhere in my apartment. Meanwhile, I'm still being chewed up. Twice, he was a no-show for a 2nd treatment. You are a blessing to me and all those you help with your wisdom and knowledge. Thank you for all you do
😊 Hi Jason! What is your opinion of the Crossfire that is sold in the aerosol can? How often is it safe to use? Should we wear a mask when spraying it? Thanks for all the information you put out there for us!
Your channel has provided me so much comfort. I have been dealing with an ongoing bed bug issue since 2021. I live in an apt complex and when I first reported the issue I knew i couldn't have brought them in myself. I had lived there 3yrs already and had not traveled or had visitors in 2 yrs. when I reported it. My new neighbors whom I share a bedroom wall with had moved in just 6months prior. After inspections, it was determined they were the source. Management waited 2 months before treating. Finally we got treated. I got chemical, they got heat and chemical. Then, a little over a year later, I find them again and report it. That time, we both got heat and chem treatment. Thought, ok finally, this should be done. Then, a month ago , I find them AGAIN. We both get one chem treatment. My property manager allows me to move into a new building/unit. Just moved this weekend, optimistic for a fresh start. Each time I have been so diligent. Leaving traps, decluttering, replacing my mattress and getting interceptors and encasements to make it a 'fortress', buying an expensive steam cleaner to treat rugs and anything that cannot be put in a dryer, vacuuming often, laundering often, always being on the lookout, etc etc...I just found a live adult bed bug in my new unit this morning on the ceiling. I am devastated. I hadn't seen any evidence for weeks prior to this move. There is no way to know if that bug came from me moving over, or if my new building has an infestation. Maybe we can figure it out through inspecting. Would love any additional helpful advice, or even just comfort that I can be rid of this problem. I feel helpless having to live in an apartment surrounded by other people, having to rely on other people to help identify the issue, and property management. but i cannot afford a single standing house...I so wish I could. anyway, thank you for reading, I had to get this out this morning, I am distraught.
@jessenceq3250 I think they used crossfire the first time but probably needed a follow up treatment and they never did. They are coming today for a treatment on my new unit and I will find out what chemical they use. Regardless, I plan to treat myself in another month with Crossfire, just for peace of mind. Thanks for your support. I hope your issue is resolved quickly. Maybe you caught it early❤
Hey Jason It's your subscriber here, Thank you for all the videos, they have gave me alot of information and answered so many questions of mine. I ordered some crossfire. I had a company come out about week ago and on day 6 after I got bit again and they use temprid. I watched your crossfire vs temprid video and seen how crossfire last longer. Unfortunately there aren't any companies out here that have that product because it has to be shipped from the states and I'm stationed in Kuwait at the moment. The company is coming back today to spray temprid, does temprid work after being dried like crossfire within its 7 days of being there? Like if they walk over it after a day of bring sprayed will temprid still kill them like crossfire? I already bought two 13oz of crossfire for 240 dollars because of the shipping and will use it when it gets here 😣
I just got into your channel. Thank you for all the useful information. I'm stuck in an infested apartment (roaches and bed bugs) and am not allowed to really treat it myself, but the management isn't doing any effective treatment either - they just spray the same stuff as for the roaches, and not in a very comprehensive way. I've been using diatomaceous earth and dressing the kids in winter pajamas year round, but that's no way to live. I may have to move in the near future, which would be great and all, but they'll just come with me if I don't do something. So I'm trying to figure out what to do about my stuff that I can't afford to just throw away and replace. I'm afraid this video didn't really answer my questions. Until I finally am able to get out of here, how should I be trying to treat & store things so that I'm not scrambling to heat or chemical treat every single thing when I leave? I already have put many soft things not regularly used through the dryer, into large ziplock bags, and into plastic totes. I have not sealed the totes as of yet - was just planning to use industrial plastic wrap. But what about the kid's bikes, scooters, and toys? The games and books? The TV's, game consoles, printer? The washer, dryer, microwave, and deep freezer? The wooden TV stand, bookcase, and my grandmother's antique sewing machine stand and stool? What about metal bed frames? Would the large enclosed heat thing on Amazon for over $1,000 be worth it, or should I be looking to go ahead a pay someone to do this? I live in SLC, Utah, and if you have any ideas or resources local to my area you could recommend me to, I would very much appreciate it.
I found three bedbugs on my bed about six months ago. I stayed up at night looking for them . I have a plastic case around my mattress and springs . I even put duct tape over the zippers. I have not found anymore. Can I safely say they are gone ? I live in a large apartment building . I put tape over my light switches and I have ever outlet with something plugged into them .
Hi, I hope you see this and can answer. I value and appreciate the information you share, but how is it that we can use Crossfire on items that can't be sprayed? Isn't spray how it is applied?
Oh my god! 😂 I had them in my music instruments! Those biting bastards! All over my left forearm to! I can't thank this channel enough for cross ➕ fire advice!
First time ever having bed bugs. Exterminator just used crossfire! We got rid of all mattresses and took out most of the items except clothes. He said for my boys to stay out of their room for at least a month. Is this absolutely necessary? And can I put their belongings back in or do I need to keep them out? I don’t want them coming back. Thank you for these videos!
I would like to see you do a video on how to use that sprayer for the crown molding up top without it splashing back on me-I will wear a face shield next time but i am short and my ceiling is 12 feet up in the center and it's a cathedral style ceiling. I ended up just doing the base of rooms and focused on the mattress and bed frame-no box spring-washed everything, cooked in dryer for 90 minutes each
My son brought them to my dad’s house from a friend’s apartment , and they got them from a motel. Dad’s house is cluttered and looks like a hoarder lives there. They are everywhere….in the furniture, clothes, shoes, electronics, the vehicles etc. They (my dad & my son) refuse to throw away anything, & refuses hire pest control. Dad can’t help much due to needing back surgery. I called a pest control company, and dad turned them away at the door. So, it’s all falling on me to deal with in my own. Where do I start and how to I get rid of the bed bugs? (I tried Nuvan strips in the vehicles, but those didn’t work.) I’m worried the bed bugs may be transferred to other family members, friends, and work.

I have a mid case my son and me one been bit once or twice. I have heat treated all clothes and have them not in my house now. I steam clean every day.. all bed frames furniture. Bed room trim. every room and have only seen two in the last week... I spray with 91% alcohol ... Would you recommend crossfire along base boards and that I continue heat treatment after it's applied? I feel I'm keeping them at bay I have DE on bed frame and around base of rooms... I am low income and it's been working but I wanna know what you recommend ..I steam couches daily and do a deep clean every 3-4 days under and inside couches ..all nocks and crannys
Jason, where exactly should we spray in the house? Also is it possible one bedroom to just have bed bugs? I only saw bed bugs in my sons room but I haven't found them any where else... I unfortunately burned all of the bedding and the beds and treated everywhere but want to know where else should I spray??
OK Jason, here’s a question for you. My wife just asked me if the mattress is sprayed all over and then fresh linens are put on the bed doesn’t that nullify the crossfire that was put on the mattress because now the bed bugs and crawl over fresh sheets that don’t have crossfire on them? What say you?
@@GreenAkersPC OK I’m trying to understand. I have a mattress encasement that I have had since the mattress was new. I plan on spraying that in casement with crossfire before I put sheets on that would be the same thing as spraying it right on the mattress, correct? I don’t really want to take the encasement off the mattress just to spray it down with crossfire as I really like the in casement, and it really protects the mattress. I hope that makes sense.

do i have to treat books objects and clothing if I'm following your booklet using crossfire? or will they eventually pass through the residuals and be poisoned?
@@GreenAkersPCdk why no one seems to understand that logic. No one except you seems to understand that. Even when mentioning CF, they still tell me to treat the rest of my sensitive items. I agree with your education if I have the right information.
When using cross fire you spray the mattress and box springs but then cover the mattress with your sheets? How do the bed bugs get exposed to the treatment if the sheet is covering the mattress? Forgive me if this is an ignorant question.
This is actually an extremely common question. Bed bugs live around the seams of a mattress. I find them there all the time even though people use sheets to cover them. The bed bugs just like to hang out there. If you treat the mattress and box spring the bed bugs will wind up right where you have treated every time

Unfortunaetly i have gutiar amps left at a cousin of mines whos house is cockroach infested ...im suspecting they may be hiding in there. How can i treat that?...ps..i also agree with spray and heat kill dem bugs instantly
What are our options in California? Amazon won't ship Crossfire here. Can a California licensed exterminator get it? I the only option a drive to Arizona?
Hello, can you talk and make a video about pets and bed bugs? I am going through an infestation and I had found and killed maybe 30 bugs and eggs from my dog’s bed…….. 😢
Hi Jason I just happened to watch your video. I have a question Can you spray the mattress with crossfire as you suggested and sleep on the mattress after spraying the pesticide? Is crossfire harmful for humans? How long should you wait to use the mattress after you have used crossfire?
I have been battling bedbugs for months even after pest control came out. I have watched several of your videos. After washing bedding in hot water and drying on high heat... My question is why spray more than the bed if the bed bugs ultimately need to feast on you and will come in contact with crossfire there?
Bed bugs can live with out feeding for months so to get it 100% effect you should spray every crack because if you just spray one room they can run to other parts of the house
@@ishhhhme4584ut why would they run over there if their meal is the one host? They would run toward the bed, which is her point. Obviously they'd choose to try to eat than just slowly starve and survive from afar...
To speed up the process incase they are hiding in other parts of the house unless you want it to potentially take several months longer than it needs to. To be safe all rooms should at least have a baseboard barrier and treat living room furniture and all bedroom furniture. That aside, you'll presumably be mixing a gallon. To not use it everywhere you can is a waste when it is supposed to be used within 24 hrs.
We are following your protocol. How many hours do we need to wait before our family can be back in their beds? We have small children in our household and a family member who will deliver her baby any day now.
Just until it’s dry. I had the same thing happen when my wife was 36 weeks and we all slept in our beds the same day I treated. We just waited for it to dry, came back and made the beds and slept that night. Congratulations on the new baby!!!
Well, that makes me feel better! Thanks for sharing your family's story with these horrible bugs. I'm assuming that the mattresses were all stripped and uncovered & then you put new encasements on them, along with the clean bedding when you returned? Sorry to be asking so many questions. We are worried about our kids and grandkids & the rest of our family!
I never advise people to use encasements. They don’t work and actually cause crossfire to be less effective so no we did not use encasements but I did take off all the covers and sheets to the bare mattress and treated it. Let it dry. Made the bed. And slept in it that night
I woke up in a VRBO this morning and found 3 tiny black spots on my ankle. I thought they were tiny blood scabs but they were little bugs. I captured two of them and put them in a plastic zip lock bag. I took pictures and short videos. I cannot tell what they are: bed bugs or ticks?? Who would be able to tell me? I've read every article I could find find and scoured dozens of pictures and still cannot tell. TIA!
I got bed bugs i have stage 3 cancer i got everything out of my house except my big tv my computer my carpet i pulled up burned it all my clothing i washed my house is like it was before i moved in i want to try your product should i do it? Are should i hire a exterminator to apply the cross fire i tried calling yre companyband left messages please get back to me sir.i been living with my mother i want to go back to my home but i cant because of the bedbugs biting me ???
I have been fighting bedbugs for last 3 years in Toronto spent $10000 for spraying from companies and ourselves and heat and cleaning with vacuum and steaming I didn’t see any of them and dog couldn’t detect them but we feel itchy on sofa and there is no crossfire in Canada we are desperate what is the solution if there’s no bedbugs detected what other creatures can have same effects
I addressed this question in last weeks live stream. Bed Bugs like to squeeze into cracks around the bed...So when they crawl up and bite you they will eventually crawl back into a hidden place like between mattresses and box springs and then be exposed to pesticides th-cam.com/video/SdAVE__Fmy0/w-d-xo.html
@@GreenAkersPC Whatever you say I have to agree with. I was so skeptical about getting rid of them without burning the house to the ground. I made all the mistakes in the beginning until I found your channel. I took them from being in 1 bedroom , to all over the house the first day lol. But once I cleaned things up from the floors and ran the sweeper like you said , then i did 2 applications of Crossfire and they were done. What is the possibility of getting bed bugs from a neighboring house? They are all over the 1 window and we started seeing them after i opened that window.

Can crossfire eliminate fleas in your clothes, because washing them in hot soapy water just doesn't work. All of my beautiful clothes I've found are full of fleas. 95% of them still have tags on them. I've removed them form my closets and put them in big trash cans with lids. Help please 😢😢
Never ever ever treat clothing with pesticides ever. Clothes can absorb chemicals and you can get extremely sick from wearing them. Labels even say “if clothes are soaked in pesticides they must be thrown away”
One of the main ways people bring bed bugs home is by picking up items from the curb…they can be outside for weeks and still have live bed bugs in the items. This doesnt work at all even if it’s below freezing. Bed Bugs will still survive.

Does cross fire have a order to it
Hi Jason I just happened to watch your video.
I have a question
Can you spray the mattress with crossfire as you suggested and sleep on the mattress after spraying the pesticide?
Is crossfire harmful for humans?
How long should you wait to use the mattress after you have used crossfire?
Just wait for it to dry, make your bed like normal and sleep on it that night. It will not hurt you or your kids or pets
Thanks a lot for your prompt reply mate. Gbu.
Thanks for your response. How many hours did you let it dry before you came back into your bedrooms?
2 hours or so
Hi Jason, How do I get Crossfire in Africa Namibia please
can crossfire stick to metals ?
Yes
I woke up in a VRBO this morning and found 3 tiny black spots on my ankle. I thought they were tiny blood scabs but they were little bugs. I captured two of them and put them in a plastic zip lock bag. I took pictures and short videos. I cannot tell what they are: bed bugs or ticks?? Who would be able to tell me? I've read every article I could find find and scoured dozens of pictures and still cannot tell. TIA!
Search Green Akers Pest Control on facebook and send the pics to me

I have been fighting bedbugs for last 3 years in Toronto spent $10000 for spraying from companies and ourselves and heat and cleaning with vacuum and steaming I didn’t see any of them and dog couldn’t detect them but we feel itchy on sofa and there is no crossfire in Canada we are desperate what is the solution if there’s no bedbugs detected what other creatures can have same effects
carpet beetles or fleas
Scabies
How do they crawl across the mattress if there is a sheet on it ? am I missing something
I've wondered about this too. Plus why not just stay on the mattress in the seams and elastic?
I may have only needed the first application , but I could afford not to chance it. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise. May you and your family be blessed .
I’m releasing a video on this Tuesday
Both my neighbor have bed bugs so I keep getting them will caulking up everywhere stop them from getting in my management won't do crap to help they know the neighbors have them but the neighbors seem to not care
Question… if I treat my mattress but then Put my sheet back on it… how does the crossfire get to the bug?
Because the bed bugs will retreat to the area between box spring and mattress
Can crossfire go on mattress encasements and bedframe and headboard? Thanks
@@danielleg2616 encasements repel chemical.. its bed to treat the boxspring/mattress without it and yes headboard and frame too.
So we do not need to empty all our clothes, shoes from b.room closet , Correct??
How do u treat wall sockets and light switches
If using crossfire you don’t
Do bed big bed posts catcher work? They go under each of the four legs and have a slick side and bumpy side? I have been messaging you on Fb thanks for helping so much

If I spray my bedroom and my dog is in the living room is the dog going to be ok
Just don’t let the dog back into the room that’s treated until it’s dry
Can i spray my clothes with crossfire? If so how?
I have bb in collars, seams they are the size of a ballpoint pen.
Do not spray your clothes with crosstie it’s against the label
So how do i clear bb. I have boiled clothes, launder in hot water with extra boiling water, dryer, steamed. Im at a loss.
If bed bugs are able to lay eggs before they die from Crossfire, couldn't that still result in perpetual bed bugs?
when you treat normally all the adults die and they are the only ones that can lay eggs. Usually the adult dies before it can lay eggs as well. They will lay eggs if you use DE but not crossfire
Do any ultra sound devices help?
No
@@GreenAkersPC thank you very much for your chanel, what would you recommend to spray the crossfire? We could not bring 2 brand new power pumps to spray,no matter what we did.We used some bottle with hand pump and it was very inconvenient.I am not sure why neither brand new pump could spray maybe you have some recomendation what can be used?
What is the possibility of getting bed bugs from a neighboring house? They are all over the 1 window and we started seeing them after i opened that window.
That kinda sounds like bat bugs
@@GreenAkersPC i would think so, but im not sure. We keep finding adult bugs. I found an adult female on our bed last night, (we just sprayed so she was extremely sluggish.) But she had a blood meal. So i think we keep getting exposed somehow. Thats why i asked of we could possibly get them from anneighboring house, crawling through our window.
Can dogs bring them in that my cousin brought in my house...what's little black crawing things..
No

How do you treat a Casper mattress?
Same as any other mattress
Can crossfire eliminate fleas in your clothes, because washing them in hot soapy water just doesn't work. All of my beautiful clothes I've found are full of fleas. 95% of them still have tags on them. I've removed them form my closets and put them in big trash cans with lids. Help please 😢😢
Never ever ever treat clothing with pesticides ever. Clothes can absorb chemicals and you can get extremely sick from wearing them.
Labels even say “if clothes are soaked in pesticides they must be thrown away”
One got into my radio and then it couldn't get out.
I can’t seem to find cross fire on amazon , why is that ????

Near fear unlocked: My cpap machine 🥴 thanks 😮
I couldn’t believe it when I saw it
It DOES work. I'm only seeing dead bugs now.
Hello ! Should we vacuum everyday ?
I wouldn’t
Leave the stuff outside for several days
One of the main ways people bring bed bugs home is by picking up items from the curb…they can be outside for weeks and still have live bed bugs in the items. This doesnt work at all even if it’s below freezing. Bed Bugs will still survive.
@@GreenAkersPC , Thanks, I didn't know that.
