    A couple of years ago you walked me through treating my sons wood bunk beds, while my husband was deployed. I will never forget how much you helped us. I used a old baby bottle to measure out crossfire. It worked amazingly. I also used the same one for treating my moms home and again worked great. I followed the directions on the lable, read them over and over. Thank you again for helping me in one of the hardest times of my life. Still donate to your patron to this day.

      I have a kid's wooden bunk bed I'm trying to treat right now and there always seems to be more of them even after I swear I got every nook and cranny.
      Is there a video on treating wooden frame bunk beds specifically like that? Do I need to disassemble the bed or something? I've sprayed it down 2 times now, been through 3 of the small Crossfire bottles in total, and I just don't understand how they're surviving.
      I'm about to do another spray of it with my 4th bottle, and I'm just at a loss here. And yes I watched the whole video, I am mixing the entire bottle into a 1 gallon pressure sprayer (the cheaper one on your Amazon affiliate link), so I know I'm mixing it right like you said to.
      Anyway, I've been awake all night, so sorry if this has been poorly written.

      @@Will_Forge I'm sorry you are having such a hard time with the bugs. I know 1st hand how frustrating it can be. I know this is a month old and hopefully you have finally rid yourself of those little demons, but I would highly recommend taking the bunk beds apart and spraying every inch with the crossfire. I was absolutely amazed at the tiniest cracks they can live/hide in. Take the furniture apart and spray. I found them in the screw holes on my daughters bed frame. I hope you got rid of them and you are finally sleeping.

    You gave me peace of mind. I didn't sleep the whole night after seeing one. You gave me independence, information and tools to handle the situation myself. I'm a bit confused because i haven't seen anything while treating my home. No skeletons, droppings, blood anything really to indicate they are there and didn't see any when i was treating my areas. I do hair in my home and now I'm considering i may have gotten it from a client

    Love the channel , keep it up . Pest controlling in UK. Bed bugs definitely on the increase . Had a difficult bed bug job at a commercial premises , bed bugs moving about after a treatment but not all killed. I used filter papers in a test tube , treated each filter paper with a different chemical we used , allowed to dry then placed each filter paper in a different test tube .. Placed some live bugs from site in the test tubes with the different treated filter papers , put tubes in warm environment and waited 48 hours. Some tubes with some chemicals didn't even slow them down there was a resistance issue. The tubes with dead bugs in after 48 hours where the the chemicals we then used ie no resistance . Resistance is a real issue now , not encountered before but certainly aware now . Worth trying if a treatment fails

    I went to my Dad's house in December, and he had a bad bed bug infestation. He fumigated, and I walked into his house for 5 minutes, and low and behold, I dragged some of those little devils to my home. So I went to the Home Depot and bought some Ortho bed bug killer, and so far so good. I don't want to speak too soon, but I all of the reviews are good. GOD bless!!

Second treatment in 4 days, per the instructions on the Ortho. I pulled the dust covers off the bottom of the 2 boxsprings in the affected bedrooms, and totally doused all over. Then once that dried, I encased in bedbug protector encasements.

    We have been dealing with these for months since my husband came home from a men's conference. A friend who has worked for pest control for 12 years told us to treat with tempo. We are no longer getting bit and do not see any signs of them anymore. We have been spraying weekly for 4 weeks, bought interceptors for our bed and sofa, and have taken all clothing and curtains out of the house. It gets washed and dried on high heat before coming back into the home each week when we spray. Buttttt I saw one today. What in the world are we doing wrong...?? We have decluttered, and do not even have our every day clothes in the house so they can't hide in them. We can't find where they're hiding.

    I actually used crossfire today for my apartment. I got the 13 oz. bottle and a gallon sprayer. I knew I wasn’t going to use all of it. So I was going to mix half. Then I said nah. I better mix the whole bottle . After watching this video I’m glad I did. And didn’t do half.

  • @DavidScottSmithMusic
    @DavidScottSmithMusic 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    The Concentrate WORKS. The aerosol version- not so much. I found the cans to actually be a waste of money, personally.
    I only need a half gallon but mix the full gallon and split it with the adjoining apartment. Fortunately this helps us both not to waste the product. The first time I dumped half a gallon. Then we had a chat and he was doing the same thing. We worked it out for preemptive applications at every 6 weeks or so. Thanks for all the advice- extremely helpful.

    I'm in a apartment and they coming tomorrow to use aprehend, not my choice I would opt for the crossfire after watching some of your videos. So I'm stuck with what they use, I did mention crossfire to them. On another note, in apartments I don't know what my neighbors are doing or bringing in. I take off my shoes at the door, keep slippers on hand for any guests. I don't flush toilet paper it goes in a bathroom trash can but most people I have noticed don't take those measures. Guess what I'm trying to say is being in a apartment, and I'm not dissin this apartment, it's one of the better ones I have been in much worse but any apartment puts one at a disadvantage of sorts.

    Hi everyone. Did you know BB’s bite dogs and cats? I found the answer by accident. Many flea and tick medicines don’t work. Revolution does work. Please treat your animals as they are drawing the BB’s into all areas of your home. The bites are also extremely painful. My hope is that the word goes far and wide. The idea of animals getting tortured by these bugs is so upsetting.

I sprayed yesterday. You probably have answered this question before a mil times but could you just confirm when I should do the next treatment, is it 3 or 4 weeks? Did not get bitten last night. But the wife found one on her today. Another question, how long can I use crossfire for. I have no issues spending the money. My father lives with me as he very elderly and in his bedroom the signs of bedbugs are more obvious. But it is difficult to treat his room. As he is set in his ways and it does not effect him at all.

      I had a terrible, itching, burning, blisters after bites. And I'm a 4th generation logger and I get poison all every year. In places where you don't want and shouldn't have poison ivy, oak and sumac and I'd take that over all of my body over these fukkers bites any day of the week. They last for almost 2 weeks and only thing helped was Benadryl and Ice to numb it. I tried tech nu oak and ivy for forestry workers, ivy rest everything and nothing works at all but ice and Benadryl. It cause so much stress and no sleep for days at a time. I had to take way more of it than I should just to get a few hours sleep wrapping ice packs around my legs and arms with Ace bandages like a mummy. And others don't even know they got bit. Idk how but it happens. My immune system does not like it at all. I'll get ivy and be fine in a day or 2. Wash with bleach and alcohol and ok. And if I get on face, privates, butt I get a shot and that helps so much. I feel for anyone who has this issue. And we had to do all this work 2 weeks before Xmas with 2 lil ones. It was very hard. But Jason told me what yo do and I did it exactly, and another tip is to check the cracks and crevices in your place. I had quite a few and after sealing them up with foam or caulking it was alot better, then spray crossfire and it's gone. Hang in there and stop all from coming over and going over yourself until you know exactly where and who has them. It's not worth the BS over family or friends. Sorry but until it's gone I'm gone. If not it'll be a long lasting issue.

      I had the same issue when I had bed bugs over a decade ago. I had been having the house sprayed by an exterminator every month for over a year because I still had whelps on me. I finally realized the rashes were no longer bed bug bites but hives. I began to suspect it was due to an allergy so I experimented with a long time medication I had been on. I would stop taking it and the hives would clear up. Then I would start taking them again and the hives would return. The doctor prescribed something else and the hives never returned.
      It is my theory that the bed bug bites set off my immune system until it began to recognize the medication I was taking as an enemy. Up until that time I taken that medication for years with no problem.

I have animals in my studio, I won't like to use chemistry, could I kill them just by washing and steaming? I couldn't find even one of them but they kept biting me . Please help.

I think these bedbugs are super bugs and it’s just not killing them, I even broke down and got a steam machine and used it on the whole house. • @patty_rish
      @patty_rish ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a professional. But if mold is all through the house then you need to find out where the moisture is and stop that. Then if it’s done structural damage that will have to be replaced. And if it’s just superficial then you can clean/kill it with bleach or white vinegar. Don’t mix them. Just pick one. And wear gloves and a mask. And throw everything that was used to clean up the mold away

      I was told that mixing pesticides can have a chemical reaction. You can have 2 products that'll kill bedbugs used by themselves, but hardly do anything if mixed. Permethrin 10 & Tempo SC is a good example of this. Also, if you spray a chemical on top of what a professional has put down, what they sprayed can be less effective.
