R.I.P Takahashi. He lived a full life and died a hero. As I write this with tears, I am forever in debt to his vision and creativity. Thanks for making my childhood and millions of other kids worth living. We will all meet again someday
Kazuki Takehasi's work is amazing, can't imagine what he would have been able to do today if he was still here, thank you Kazuki for given us the chance to see your talent and for given us fans the best anime involving cards anyone could ask for, the original Yu-Gi-Oh will always be my number one favorite forever!
What a legend, his works can never be touched. Also I love how Slifer and Obelisk are scarier than Yugi and Kaiba but Marik is way more terrifying than Ra, GOAT.
5:33 The biggest curiosity piece for me with on the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Character Designs page where one of the first characters that Kazuki himself designed for that series was Anna Kozuki (Anna Kaboom). I'm not sure if this meant that she was supposed to be the main girl of Zexal instead of Tori, but if that's the case, then it's a real shame that she wasn't, she was an awesome character and she deserved better. What do you think?
Yu gi oh was a very remarkable series for me, especially because of its art it was só amazing to watch those amazingly designed monsters in an anime for a kid Back then 20 years ago ( i was that kid)
This was a very beautiful video, and you're a beautiful person, thank you for this. Great presentation and music choice. Long love the legacy RIP Kazuki Takahashi
There’s a Japanese bookstore that sells mostly manga/anime art books near me here in LA. I always stop by whenever a new VJump (with a promo) or valuable book drops but i do regret not picking this one up when it released.
I see you've got the English version if the book! The english texts and info inside makes this a nice to have over the japanese version, while the japanese version has a much more sophisticated cover. A nice piece to have in a collection!
😢 i recently started collecting artbooks and would love this. It's out of stock everywhere, and eBay people are re selling for more than i can afford 😔 RIP to the legend Takahashi
Beautiful book that you accuired, congratulations! Thank you for sharing it's content with us, it has amazing arts and I stopped in every page to enjoy it. But I couldn't read the final part, the creator's comments, could you show them in instagram, here in youtube or so as a post or something, so we can read it better, please? Thank you anyways :)
Retailed for 40 but goes for 100 ish now. The English one is quite a bit rarer than the Japanese. I highly recommend either, they’re practically the same. Thanks for viewing the videos.
I hope Kazuki Takehasi’s artwork is preserved in a museum someday for future generations to enjoy.

Rip Takahashi-sensei the legend of Yu-Gi-Oh
This was really interesting.. especially the 5Ds stuff. It really confirms the theory that Crow was originally going to be a Dark Signer.
wow this art is amazing. It really shows you how dark and edgy kazuki's vision for yugioh could have been.
Kazuki is the epitome of exodia, his talent is forbidden and his legacy is infinite.

I've wanted this book for a long time. Thank you for giving us the deep dive into it, it was really nice to watch.
3:05 in story arc wheres the virtual world, awakening the dragons (orichalcos), and capsule monster arcs?
Those are filler arcs exclusive to the anime. That timeline is only covering the arcs in Takahashi's original manga.
Thanks For Viewing The Videos!
Very nice. Being an artist myself, it's awesome to check out these illustrations.
