so who owns and maintains the security token database and re-issues in case of loss ? Obviously it is centralized ...Is it the issuer of the token ?
Security tokens are actual securities, so the cap table is managed by a registered transfer agent. Trading happens through a registered broker-dealer. Same as with shares of stock that you may own through Schwab, e-trade, etc.

This might be off topic, But what is your opinion on an Open source smart contract blockchain like $Ergo, where it is not a security but it has value and developing on the chain. How will coins such as Ergo help the industry
