I own all three...992 GT3, 992 GT3 RS, and GT4 RS (and 992 GT3 Cup and Macan S). The GT3 beats the GT4 RS, so of course the GT3 RS smokes it. It's all personal preference, though. My 992 GT3 is my favorite, largely due to it being a manual transmission.
There is just no way after hearing the gt4 rs in real life inside the cockpit that you want anything else Doesn't matter how slow the gt4 rs is, it's the only car that will put a smile on your face once you open that throttle
The 3RS is awesome but I feel it’s too much, the 4RS is fun. Btw did you feel the Porsche experience 4RS handles similar to yours, any special tweaks etc?
The 3RS is incredible on track & all the Porsche drivers who tried it this week were amazed with performance. So grippy. The 4RS is equally great fun in a different way. Set up for Spa as a fast flowing track is different and this stock car was handling quite well
Hi nice comparison. Which one is easier to be driven on track? Yes we know GT3RS has a lot more downforce, but my concern is which one easier to handle since GT4RS is mid engine car.
Hi. The 4RS with its mid engine is smooth with balanced throttle. Too much T and it moves. 3RS with rear engine, stiffer suspension, better aero, and wider tires maintains great grip at higher speeds in corner and in exits
Throughout Radillon the 3RS was carrying a lot higher speed and the braking area at of Kemmel was 20+ M later. I had an issue remembering to switch DRS (it’s manually activated) but nevertheless the drag is certainly much higher
Nice to see the side by side. You get what you pay for and it is to be expected that 3 beats 4. But what did both Top Gear testers say- they both chose the GT4RS. More fun?
The 4RS is definitely a lot of fun, a better daily car and comes pretty cheap. The 3RS is the iconic track car for Porsche & the 992 delivers big time. Take your pick
GT3 < GT4RS < GT3RS. But I would happy with either RS's
That probably goes for most of us.

Spot on choice of cars. I don’t have a manual but I’ve driven one and it’s awesome. The 4RS sound and handling just sings to me

@Alexandre Faustino The sound of my GT4 RS is epic but nothing beats the driving experience of my manual GT3
@@alexandrefaustino2448 I can’t get enough of the cabin sound of the 4RS and the smooth handling
4RS just much more fun everywhere.
4RS sure is a lot of fun. The 3RS is a track monster though esp. in fast corners: th-cam.com/video/vql-_2tE7ZI/w-d-xo.html
@@porschegt1956 Go and look at the Magny Cours footage - it wasn't a track monster there when driven by Romain Monti.

To be expected. The GT3RS looks way more stable at high speed
A lot more downforce to pick 1 advantage. So glued esp. at mid to high speed corners and allows much later braking.
Normal Gt3 is my Favorit Car
All great cars and the GT3 is awesome
Get both 👍

@@porschegt1956 I see. So the 3RS win. Thank you for the information.
Btw, r u going to track day on 23rd (autodrome) ? Will be my first in new 4RS
Enjoy the 4RS. It’s a smooth ride and great cabin sound. No I’ll still be away unfortunately
Was DRS enabled on the straight for the 3rs? More of a drag impact than expected unless you exited or braked differently.

992 GT3RS😁
Knew you’d say that😊
@@porschegt1956 I do believe the Gt4rs sounds better than the 992Gt3rs from with in the cabin?
@@jassimtalah7031 certainly. Both are great though. 3RS would not be a city ride. Too rough; tires rattle and screech

The 3RS is amazing on a fast flowing track like Spa. 4RS is more gentle
