My top 3 books: James by Percival Everett, East of Eden by John Steinbeck, and Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. Thank you for the reviews. I’m going to put The Four Winds on my TBR.
So glad to see you guys. I love your channel ❤. Paul I put that book ‘Lies’ on my TBR list. I love a good thriller. Lesley FerVent is one of my Christian favorites. I have the book & the audio book. It’s time for me to read it again. My top 3 Historical Fiction by Black authors are (1) ‘The Darkest Child’ by Delores Philips. This book is a MUST READ. I read it 20 years ago and it still stirs emotion when I think about it. (2) ‘Sugar’ by Bernice McFadden (3) ‘Mrs Wiggins’ by Mary Monroe.
Hello, Paul & Lesley ✌️😃 Always a pleasure to watch your videos 😊 My current Top 3 Books: - The Spy Who Came In From the Cold by John Le Carré. This spy thriller blew me away. - Fight Club by Chuck Palaniuk. Satire with twisted humor. A lot beneath the surface. - Seabiscuit by Laura Hillenbrand. Most historians just list names and dates. This woman can tell you an engaging story like very few can.
