The original Hartford Whalers logo may be the best logo in the history of professional sports. Such a simple design but one that says / conveys so much.
I got the Rangers and Avs reverse retro, and both of them are so nice when you see them in person. The Nordiques logo is absolutely amazing, and the Rangers shoulder patch is probably one of the best parts of the jersey
Some of these jerseys, NYR/Ducks for example, would look so good in as street wear if that makes sense. I just always imagine theme in a layout of a alternate fashion magazine! That Preds jersey is everyone every time I see it I get more obsessed with it.
I didn’t like the Blue Jackets one at first for all the reasons you described. But somehow, when I saw it on the ice, I really liked it. Not sure why, but it just looks super sharp. (Especially with the numbers in the nice Blue Jackets’ font.)
I bought the Predators Reverse Retro because you spoke so highly of it and you were right. Even though I am indifferent to the Predators, it is my favorite jersey out of the ones I got so far to wear (& I mean all my jerseys and not just the RR jerseys I have). The material on the silver parts of the jersey is very nice to touch. It is nothing else like what Adidas has made. I have a blank one, but plan on getting it customized later when I can. I also have the Panthers and Blues RR as well.

If you look at the last set of jerseys the Whalers originally worn i believe grey or silver was a tertiary color, it made more sense as well they already have a green one and blue wouldve made them look like Vamcouver, who ironically also have a whale on their jersey

I do have 3 reverse retro jerseys of my local teams in the New York area, NY/NJ, Tri-State area, Rangers, Islanders, and Devils, I do love all 3 they all look good in person I had a feeling he would of put the Islanders ranked last it's a nice jersey but they should did the fishermen logo though, the Rangers should of ranked a little higher but it does look like a plain jersey though but still is a good jersey overall, and the Devils one is good I know people have said that the Devils should of did a black jersey but the green jersey is so nice as everyone would say it's a Christmas jersey
I assume coolhockey did the customization on your Ducks, Kings and Arizona jerseys. Disappointing that they don’t go for on ice accurate customization. Ducks don’t use a name bar and the letters are supposed to be slightly curved. Technically not their fault since the Ducks were late to release that detail. But Kings and Arizona don’t use a name bar either. Letters are directly sewn to the jersey. Small details but that would drive me nuts considering the price for them and potential resale value
Actually none of it is initially their fault. All teams made last minute changes apparently. Also, even if a team does make an update, Cool Hockey still needs to apply to be able to produce any changes and they can't produce the changes until the NHL approves it. Same thing happened to them with the Dallas Stars Neon jersey. Initially the Stars used a darker green for the numbers and letters that did NOT match the same green in the stripes, and CH was approved to make the original style, but not the new updated one that Dallas changed to (matching green). CH had to wait, and maybe still are waiting, for approval from the NHL to produce the new matching green.

Not sure about the others I mentioned because I still see newer posts of those jerseys with plates from them. I just find them to be a bit expensive and have found other shops that do better work for cheaper. Should check out Tom at Firstline jerseys on his IG Firstlinejc. He has handled a lot of my stuff that's even team issued or older. He gets the kits from licensed places and does the sewing. Insane attention to detail. Correct fonts and materials, even custom mock ups. I know cool hockey does not have Ultrafil, Flo knit, Air knit, 1.0, 2.0 edge or Adidas material. Wish they did, live 10 mins from them.

Probably MLB The Show 21 because that will keep you entertained for days/weeks/months. Jerseys are cool, but you can only look at them to really appreciate them and that gets old.

A lot of the retros have been horrible except a handful. Dallas looks like Freeway cleaner uniforms, St.Louis looks like vintage Mcdonalds uniforms. Calgary, New York, Washington, Florida only ones that i thought were nice.

The stl jersey looked way better on the ice then I thought it would look, it looks beautiful, and it is kind the def. of a reverse retro jersey, u can’t reverse a retro any more then what stl did on there hersey

Neil, the sleeves of the NYR jersey can't be red because it's a _reverse_ retro. But yeah, many teams had to do some compromises for these jerseys
