Are we supposed to stop fertilizing dendrobiums from mid November till mid February for winter rest ? Do talk about fertilization too. Also for phelonopsis ........ should we continue fertilizing it through winter ?
For orchids that take a winter rest, you can stop fertilizing and keep watering to a minimum. There is no strict timing as such. When you see new growth,be it buds or keikis then resume watering first. Then follow with fertilizer. May be one week after resuming watering.
