Loving the Iron Flame slander tbh lmao I didn't like Fourth Wing very much and everyone has been looking forward to this sequel and now I'm seeing people come to their senses and I'm like yes
fourth wing def had its flaws but i was heavily entertained at least 😭 iron flame…. not so much…
I agree with Iron Flame and Haunting Adeline sm. It really needed another year in writing and editing to make it a good enough sequel. I’m not saying RY is an amazing writer but people liked the quality of fourth wing so she could’ve continued that. It’s just half-baked and put out to eat. And then there’s Haunting Adeline, like these characters don’t act like people 😭 their actions, their thought-process, their rationale swings in so many directions all based on what the plot needs at the moment

Court of the vampire queen was good for me simply because it was wayyy spicier than anticipated and it was a honeymoon read😂

Daisy Haites absolutely KILLED me to read this year. Towards the end I was just going in a downwards spiral about how insufferable Daisy was as a character and on top of it, the footnotes made the book feel at least 500 pages longer than it already was💀 Jessa fr needs to ditch the footnotes because they aren’t cute and quirky like she tries to make them
heavy on shatter me it’s just so bad 😭 only good thing was warner and kenji like lord the writing was physically painful to read i sold my books even when i like to keep the books that i read bye 💀
OMG YES. shatter me is awful. i read the first book this year, and it’s the worst book i’ve ever read. i can’t explain how much i hate it, and i’m so confused why people like it so much.

Although they weren't horrible my most dissapointing two reads were Love in the time of serial killers and You've reached sam. The worst book was Cursed Bunny, dnf for me. Wasn't horribly written but just wasn't interesting for me. I really wanted to like it.

like see EYE personally like a good dark romance, a toxic relationship is right up my alley yk??? BUT i don’t think it’s okay that authors write ab an abuser and a victim falling in love.…and then teens, adults, even children romanticize it…anyways i think it’s just nasty behavior
yes! like dark romances can include dark themes but dont also have to simultaneously romanticize abuse….😭
Fortunes of Jaded women! I was so excited but there was so much going on between zillions of characters and all of them had some big secret and it was hard to follow! I did read the whole book but I gave it 3 stars and it was mid

Court of a vampire queen was the MOST unserious book I’ve ever read. Like be soooooo for real with me right now.
It's so upsetting because Aaron Warner is nornally the kind of character I'd die for but Shatter Me is legitimately so bad. Then I made the mistake of reading the sequel trilogy and THE WAY SHE UNDOES SO MUCH OF WHAT WAS DONE IN THE FIRST THREE WAS SO INFURIATING.
