    This was great. Your one about the management aspect of the game didn’t have a lot of info in comparison. I wish you explained things in that one Ike you did hear.

    HI,do u have a guide for time trial for 2019 and a guide for mountain 2019 please?

      It's a little aged now but my climbing tutorial from a few years ago is still relevant. The only change of late is the addition of Medium Mountain in '23 and it doesn't actually change much of anything.

    Thank you for posting. I have never tried this game before. Should I buy the 2022 edition or get this 2019 that is only 9.00?

      The game's evolution each year is minimal, so you should be fine if you want to save some money and try the game out. However, once you play the newest one it's hard to go back because the changes are then missed. 2022 has been better than other recent editions so I'd recommend skipping 20 and 21, so it's definitely up to you on starting with 19 on the cheap or getting the most recent.

      Intentionally split it up so I could go into more detail, so I definitely will soon. Was sick while recording this yesterday, lost my voice afterward. Need a few days till I can get the next one out.

      1) Use weaker teammates to protect them as long as possible. 2) Manage your effort level to not allow the yellow bar to decrease too quickly.
      Beyond that you start getting into fine details, some of which include lowering the effort level within the group even if it makes you drift further down the group (blinking red) or to ride solo so you can avoid the constant acceleration of attacks by the pack and therefore control your own pace or use a teammate to lead the pack and thus control a pace that you're comfortable with.

    Any chance to increase UI during race? I find it hard to read, but there is so much space on the screen...

    what's difference between relay and infinite relay?

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Infinite relay: the rider will try to work from the front as long as their pace is high enough and they will continue to do so till their energy is expended. Standard relay: the rider will take turns with other riders to work at the front, given their pace is sufficient; if their pace is too high or other riders are not committed to relay then they will work alone.

    How to use energy gel please?

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Save it for the final 5k each and every time, unless you're on a climb and see your yellow bar fading - though it takes time to activate so you'd need to anticipate the decline prior to your yellow bar going empty.

    • @JCech40

      @@DecathlonGamer thanks
      So energy gel is for the yellow bar?

    • @DecathlonGamer
      @DecathlonGamer  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JCech40 Yellow and red combined. Both are represented by your Res(istance) attribute, yellow is long term ability to push and red is short term. Your energy gel, while active, will lessen the rate of decrease. It allows you to sprint or maintain pace a little bit longer.
