I have always wanted to test drive a trike! The ability to sit down is a game changer. Trail or country riding sure. However, personally I wouldn’t feel comfortable riding one on the streets in the city where I live 😢

There is a HUGE difference in comfort in seat designs.
Avoid a small seat bottom shaped like a large bicycle seat. Also avoid a small separate backrest.
Only look at true recumbent seats which look like a one-piece recliner chair.
Look for adjustability in BOTH angles and vertical height.

Can you have a blue print of a tadpole trike?

No, we do not have a blueprint. Hopefully, you can search for it on the internet. Thanks for watching

Best video yet on recumbent trike differences!
    Thank you!
However, let us include further information.
    Consider this:
How often does anyone ever see automotive sports cars on the road NOT flipping over,
simply because they are sports cars? Not ever.
Never likely, even if at sports car events featuring highest-speed, competitive driving competition!
Flipping over is always virtually non-existent because people treasure their vehicle.
Have only witnessed flipping over of recumbent trikes during test rides at Cycle Con Events!
Trikes can be flipped over. BEWARE.
Been riding recumbents for over thirty years.
Own multiple both delta and tadpole planforms.
Ohio reportedly has both highest mileage of bicycle paths in America, as well as the largest matrix of bicycle paths, here in SW Ohio.
Have NEVER observed tadpole riding (in this not too-hilly area) that would result in flipping over, if they had been riding delta planform trikes.
99% of all trike riding can be inclusive of:
Getting exercise, viewing of scenery, and watching of wildlife inclusive of mammals, reptiles (especially turtles!), fish, insects, (especially butterflies!).
Personal observations above of other bicycle path users, for well over 30 years now.
Have NEVER observed high-speed handling that could literally tip over a rider's prized recumbent trike.
OK, so it indeed FACTUAL that a delta planform would tip over before a tadpole.
Jacked up competitive jeeps tip over easier than factory lower jeeps.
However, a dream delta can have 2WD with a differential! HUGE difference for comfort.
Increased flotation and traction for off-road dog running, exploring, towing child on snow toy.
Have repeatedly gotten BOTH my street-tire and my fatty-tire tadpoles stuck off road!
DO,NOT brake hard downhill on a tadpole! You will pole vault over the boom that stabs into the soil!
Dream recumbent trike here has 2WD, E-assist (IE Shimano STEPS or Rohloff motor w/ E-shift, mid-mount Rohloff hub!
Under-seat, indirect steering is much more comfortable and natural than forward, out-reach arms required for over-the-seat steering!
Indirect under-seat steering pivots have HUGE effect in decreasing road vibration into one's hands and arms.
Twin tires (most suspension) most directly under rider's torso greatly increases both comfort and ride.
Twin steer tires are redundant for 99+++% of ALL recumbent trike riding! HELLO!?
Never outgrow a delta planform trike.
Grow oldest on a delta planform trike.
Even if from/to a wheelchair (elder handicapper, not there yet).
Hope this input posts well. Computer keypad issues here.

Thanks so much again Gary for you insightful and detailed information. Could this be another video idea? I just did a review on my dream recumbent trike... the HP Velotechnek TRIKE!

If you do make a video comparing delta to tadpole planform, realize that according to logic presented, jacked-up
(higher Center-of-Gravity) competition jeeps are NOT even possible!
WHY? BECAUSE they will tip over WAY, way easier than any low, stock Jeep would ever tip over.
ALSO, watch YOUR fully and completely extended arms while on that above-seat-steering delta!
Overly extended arms IS the definition of fatigue on ANY recumbent (both 2 or 3-wheels)!!!
Your supported torso should NOT have to arch forward to push the handlebar to make any turn!
Under Seat Steering, Correctly Adjusted, has the rider's upper arms fully vertical, NOT extended at all.
One arm pushes forward, while the other arm pulls aft!
An under-seat handlebar pivot IS literally a long Power Steering force lever! Think about that!
So fed up here of watching the industry pushing inferior tadpoles.
Tadpoles only shine as sports cars, which is the rarest of all riding that ever occurs!
Again, I NEVER see tadpoles being ridden in a manner that would tip over deltas! HELLO!
      Thank you for your compliment.
Also, thank you for your open mind (hugely RARE in the recumbent trike world)!
