I used to do this years ago with lace front wigs that were getting old or the lace started to bald - cut a part and make it into a u-part or "v-part" wig. So this is nothing new but at least the companies peeped game and started coming out with these because those wefted u-part wigs look so bulky at the top, you would have to use more leave out to blend it.
I didn’t do this with lace wigs but I definitely use to make my own u parts!
💯💯 I literally just said the same thing on a different video, however these companies are charging astronomical prices…. 😏. But yeah years🥰🥰

You didn't do the no leave out justice - you have to tease the hair a bit and also clip them closer together, but the hair looks lovely on you!

I actually ended up cutting it and dying it to match my hair bc it’s red now and I feel it’s holding up ok. There’s some tangling and shedding but that’s to be expected with curly hair and I also processed it so there’s that
Gorgeous!! You are so lucky that you are able to use a bit of leave-out. My hair is just too thin and it doesn't cover the wig edge :(

@@AmbreRenee I tried that, but honestly, Caucasian hair can be quite annoying when it comes to wig wearing… to slippery for anker braids, to thin to hide edges… 🙄

Try a lightweight mousse instead. That might work better!

How did you define the curls
I use water mixed with a little conditioner. Then I put a nickel size amount of argon oil
@@AmbreRenee thanks for responding. I love the way your curls fall. The issue I’m having is mine dries in the shape of an upside down V which I do not like. What condition or are you using? And how do you get the top of it to have so much volume so it doesn’t dry or shape like an upside down V.
Why didn’t you lay the leave out w a scarf till it dried flat
Because tying a scarf around those rods hurts
