Bourbon Vanilla is named after the former name of Madagascar - Bourbon Island, which in turn originates from the name of the french royal House of Bourbon, and is pronounced similarly. People often gets confused by the name thinking it is named after Bourbon whiskey, but that is not the case - hence why no "booziness" in the note.
I know but we keep getting reviewers explaining how boozy this bourbon vanilla is.. so so boozy lol

I'm doing my best, I kinda want to get this mega haul done as I want to make other videos, so this is a little marathon for me.
I think the reason why he creates so many frags is simple, he is one of the biggest if not the biggest rockstar of the perfume industry.
Probably hundreds if not thousands of brands try to commission him on the daily to create the next AdG, the next CK One etc for them.
If I were a perfumer would take those jobs too.
But most don’t give him free hand to be artistic, or budget to create something truly magnificent.
They want something quick that everybody’s gonna like and will be easily marketable.

I did go back to the video, I was luke warm on it so it makes sense and I did smell the caramel note too so I think I was little off on this video about my impression on that older video. A first impression is never a closed book but it can be lol

Great review as always. I like that for me at least, this one isn't super expensive. 100ish usd for 3.3oz/100ml. I notice you don't really cover cheap frags or clones. Do you believe the more expensive ones are always higher quality? Is focusing on the expensive brands simply your preference?
I don't touch clones at all by choice. Even though there is quite the overlap within the industry with brands that copy each other, I rather stick with brands (originals) as clone brands I don't even want to know the quality control there. I do try to hit cheapies once and while from designer houses. As a rule of thumb more expensive does not mean you'll get better quality. I feel like expensive brands like Initio and Parfums de Marly quality are par with designer brands but with such a higher price point. So it does not always mean quality. Hope that helps!

I think it's unisex but it all depends on you and your taste. Some men think gourmands are fem so it's hard to gage.
