@@QFC78466 lol I thought as I read this "I'm not saluting Disney" as for the other two, jim thanks for making the beginning of my life that much more awesome, and Stan thanks for making some spurts during my teens and the last 10 years up til now that much more awesome too! 2 fresh salutes gentlemen.
yes he was a horrible human being how dare he want to help so much during world war 1 that he lied about his age to become an ambulance driver and save countless lives while surviving the 1918 flu? how selfish of him to campaign for the first black actor to win an Oscar truly he is a retched human being
Walt wasn't actually anti-semitic, though he did seem to believe in some of the less offensive stereotypes like most people back then did. He intact donated to various jewish charities. He did apparently ally himself with a anti-semetic motion picture group once, and despite try to distance himself from them later the reputation of being antiseptic stuck.
If Walt was an anti-semite, then someone should inform the B'nai B'rith because their Beverly Hills chapter named him their Man of the Year in 1955. Walt was anti-communist and definitely anti-union which was exaggerated into anti-semitism. Kudos to ERB for resisting the same cheap slams that the "Simpsons," "Family Guy," and the Onion have made on this theme.
Exactly, he wasn't anti-simetic or even racist, he just followed the stereotypes back then, but didn't even acknowledge the negative stereotypes. He was a business and family man, one of the few in the country to hire women and people of color while giving them prominent roles (one of his top artists was a black man and two of his best friends and top composers were Jewish, and one of the lead story tellers was a woman). Disney was a man who believed in pushing people to their limits, which was why he tend to put people who despised each other together, since that would produce the best quality entertainment. He also believed the work place was not a place for fraternizing, which was why he kept men and women apart (not because he hated women, but because he didn't want any form of relationship drama in the workplace).
When Walt Disney said he owns the whole series it's because Disney owns Maker Studios, which in turns owns ERB. And they know better than to make antisemetic jokes; when PewDiePie made one to criticize something Maker Studios dropped him harder than Mr Goldstein did his shekels when the nazis kicked his door down.
It might be worth clarifying that Disney here is less Walt Disney himself and more the personification of Disney the corporation (as viewed by its detractors, at least) that just happens to take the form of Walt Disney, something that disturbingly mirrors how Walt's person and corporate image were so confusingly conflated that his own employees were uncertain what his "real" personality was like. You can see this reflected in the subtle inhumanness of his constant cheer and smiling expression.
I dunno if you're doing this in a certain order, but you, as a Queen fan(if I remember correctly?) have to react to Frank Sinatra VS Freddie Mercury from ERB.
On this episode from ERB is the battle between the two different Entertainment Entrepreneurs featuring Epiclloyd as Stan Lee and NicePeter as Jim Henson
I was expecting Toxic Avenger movies and comics. Stan Lee worked on The Toxic Avenger comics and appeared in a few Troma films including The Toxic Avenger.
I reccomended this in a comment yesterday not realising you'd already done it, and now a day later it shows up in my reccomended... hey guys, I think Google might be watching us. I get siding with Stan Lee, with all his heroes, but Henson has a few wildcards. I wouldn't count Animal out, and I have no basis for saying this, but I think Gonzo might do cocaine. (I just ran an image search to see if anyone had done that; couldn't see anything for Gonzo, but there was one for Kermit.)
This video may have been enough biting the (Disney) hand that fed them to get ERB dropped by Maker. Or maybe going independent was already in the works for ERB, and this was an intentional kiss-off?
The thing is Walt is turning in his grave right now at what Disney has become the real Walt Disney only cared about making people happy in fact he died before Disney became a theme park the Walt in this is a representation of what Disney is now and it the only way they could do without directly dising Disney because Maker Studios who makes ERB is owned by Disney.
RIP Stan Lee, Jim Henson, and Walt Disney. **salutes**

@@MrCubFan415 imagine responding to a 2 year old comment. Idiot.
Cymatics Yeah, good point, it was an old comment. No need for name-calling, though.
@@MrCubFan415 I got your back. Just updating the information.
Cymatics your point?
This battle got WAY sadder for me after Stan died. Henson's lines before Disney comes in? Fucking tears, man.
Not to mention that his foremost composers, the Sherman brothers, were both Jewish.
Actually it wasn't an anti-semitic group he was with.it was an anti-communist group that had some very famous anti-semitic people

Basically Skeptical lol
"Now look at it, gaze upon my empire of joy" my favorite line.
Jim Henson not only created Kermit but he also provided his voice
You're so used to a cartoon mouse being the face of Disney that seeing the actual person, Walt Disney (in a way) catches you off guard
wow this happened before stan lee passed away RIP legend
Clint Eastwood vs Bruce Lee is actually the most savage ERB ever made.
Monroe vs cleopatra is way more savage then Clint vs Bruce.

"No-one in your family lives to see the sequel"? That's 3 steps ahead of savage.
