@@kingoscar5884 The guy in the video leading the band is drum major Oliver. Also, I'm not too sure about the rank, but I think to become a drum sergeant, you have to be a sergeant in the corps of drums and you work your way up to become a drum major after.
@@kingoscar5884 Oh, because the people are Household Divison Fans. They study the drum majors and bands. If you want to know the names of the drum majors, I'd suggest watching the videos of different drum majors and remembering their moves and the way they march and stuff.

It was therefore not a DM salute but one by a retired senior officer in suit and bowler holding an umbrella acting as Parade Commander. The method of saluting when thus dressed is for him to raise his hat a few inches above his head. This does not mean the DM in uniform would not have saluted the Memorial as well.
