I have been trying and trying to get a great water effect and HERE IT IS! These turned out SO gorgeous! They truly look like water and are SO very unique! It was a lot of work for her preparing these but it sure paid off in the end, didn't it!
I was born in the Texas coastal city of Corpus Christi. I looove anything that remotely represents the beach. Although ours isn’t as beautiful as yours, it’s still beautiful. Especially where we’d frequent, near our home. Padre Island was my happy place! I’m wanting to visit Croatia within the next few years and can’t wait! These pieces make my heart so happy! 🩵
Love it. Idea: Modeling paste or plasticine modeling clay under the plastic for shaped textures.

The thing I love most about your videos is that you and your mom are always trying new things. Even when making four coasters, you change the order of the colours to see what a difference it will make, and now in this one, creating your own unique molds. Very inspiring

I am in awe over this technique, you and your mother are so talented. I have never seen this "water ripple " effect before, but I LOVE it, and I am going to try it out! We live on the southwest coast of Florida with water on all sides, fun to have a new hobby idea to share. Thank You for sharing your art with us.
Please,remove the link to the vinyl, it is not correct! I ordered from your link and I received vinyl, which is on paper with an adhesive base, it is not suitable for these purposes! wasted money.

That is very cool!!! Your mom is very ingenious thinking that up!!! Does she fill them with clear resin to make the bottom flat? Or does she place them upside-down to use them? Still cool as heck!!!

I think after all that work, I would use these to make silicone moulds from for just in case I wanted to make more later without all the prep work all over again! :) BEAUTIFUL!

what gauge thickness is the vinyl and did you need to use a mold release or does epoxy not stick to it?
