He's such a funny, down to earth person with comedic sense and timing- I like his delivery here- he's going with the joke and acting as if he is truly outraged that he was asked to do sth so 'humiliating' to his golden voice (what also goes to show his ability to poke fun at himself and not having a stick up his ass) which in my opinion is much funnier than if he didn't do it. You can see he's just playing around and having fun as well when he breaks the character at the end of the section and has a laugh :)
