- Hi Fellow Anglers!! We started out our vacation a day early to get in some Halibut fishing with Great Friends. We had a blast in the Bay, Catching 4 Keeper Halibut. TJ had the Hot Rod of the day and got All the keepers on his rod, with the biggest being 29" and the rest were about 27" each. We also got a couple shakers and short bites. The weather was gorgeous in the morning but the wind quickly picked up. We had to call it an early day anyways to get ready for our flight to get in some Gulf fishing in Mississippi!
