I was thinking about the common sounds in names and thought maybe Lola, Ollie and Leah. The 2 little girls would have their names beginning with the same letter while Ollie and Oscar both begin with O. Also, the triplets' names all have a strong L in their name which kinda joins them. I love the group of Tobias, Gideon and Orlando. Especially as they tie in with the O in Oscar. They are all such badass adventurer sounding names, very cool! Also, you're right. I never gave the name Josie much thought but hearing it again, it's gorgeous.
Tobias has been on my baby boy's name list for years. But we've jusr settled on a complete boys name...and Tobias isn't in there, surprsingly(although my husband loved it too)!
Here’s a friendship girl name you overlooked that I think would be great: Amity. It’s a very old-school virtue name. Easy to spell and pronounce without having another kid in her class with her name, and not too long. And it literally means friendship and goodwill.
I think it would be cute to give the identical twins “c” names because it would tie into Oscar’s name with the “c” in his name, and then having the other triplet have a “o” name to tie in with the “o” in Oscar as well. Briar, Opal and Tallulah (all connected by nature-y, whimsical meanings) Isolde, Odette and Briar (those strong Os and I just love Briar) Harper, Briar and Kasper (obviously, I’m being self indulgent, so I’ll stop with Briar😄) Harper, Avery and Kasper (strong Rs which are probably my favourite sound. What a challenge for the parents, naming 3 children at once ! My faves were Huxley, Lennox & Xanthe. I have seen Xantia as a name. I think, if they are all girls, an " A " ending on all the names would be nice. Better than all beginning with the same letter.
I’ve had Lennox at the top of my girls list since high school. I loved The Secret Garden growing up and the main characters name is Mary Lennox. Unfortunately, two people I know had nabbed in 2019 so I don’t think I’ll be using it.
My daughter who is married and has been trying for 3 years now has had the name Lennox June picked out for her daughter. Of course infertility is really hard on a family and a touchy subject. Well my husbands 18 year old niece goes and gets knocked up for the second time and steals both my daughters names. When my daughter said something to her about it she said "We don't even know if you're gonna ever have a baby so it's not fair that a perfectly good name I like too has to just not be touched. First come first served!" My poor daughter left in tears. She said "Well at least I can still name my daughter that because now I know they will never be in each other's lives!" It gets even worse, when the baby was born she spelled the name something like Lynix, which in my opinion is awful!

It's Emily Rose I play the sims so I literally watch these videos all the time to get names. One time I name my sim Marlowe because it is one of my favorite names it’s just beautiful and my friend was like “why are there so many extra letters? My mom named me and my siblings alphabetically by who’s the oldest-youngest. I really love names myself. I have always taken and interest in name meanings, and have been thinking of children's names for as long as I could remember. When I was pregnant with my oldest I wanted Alaina Corinne for a girl, but my husband was not a fan of Corinne, and a friend of mine, who was a little further along in her pregnancy found out she was having a girl and picked Alaina too. I was like what are the odds!? Well I had loved the name Jocelyn since watching "A Knights Tale" with Heath Ledger. I kept trying to convince my husband and finally he agreed lol. I still really liked Alaina, but didn't care for her initials to be JAM, so I changed Alaina to Elaina. So my oldest is Jocelyn Elaina and shes my little JEM. With my second we were convinced we were having a boy, and our boy name we had picked out was Rowan Scott, had Jocelyn been a boy she would've been Rowan Caleb. We really loved the name Rowan. Everyone called my belly Rowan and I just knew I was having a boy so we struggled with girl names. I liked Irelyn Claire A LOT, and still do to this day, but I wasn't getting the best reception on it, so we decided if the baby was a girl we would name her Rowyn since we love the name so much, and I always loved Elise as a middle name. So our second child was miss Rowyn Elise. When I found out I was pregnant with our 3rd, I was like "OH no... I have no idea what names to use" We used our favorite boy name already, and I had NO idea what girl names I liked. Since my name and the girls names ended with an N I decided that the boy name would end in a Y like my husband Bobby (yep, his name is just Bobby) I looked up all y ending names and LOVED (Still do) Emory, but my husband was like absolutely not, we really struggled on names we both agreed on, until when I was looking at Irish boy names and found Finley. We both said "YES! that's it!" We had our last child and our boy and his name is Finley Scott. Scott is my husbands middle name and It just goes so well as a middle name. I love my kids names and I love telling the stories on how we came up with them.
I am a triplet myself actually. The three of us are all girls. My sisters' names are Helena and Carlotta and I am called Elisa. We don't have a second name, but it's kind of a family tradition to use the godfather or godmother's name as a second name. Maybe that's also worth considering. A phenomenon you also see with twins a lot of the time. Anyway, at times, one hard thing is to be seen as an individual.

My sister had triplets! They are 4 years old and called Sierra, River, and Oakley. (River and Oakley are boys, Sierra is a girl.) I love their names, they are tied together by a forest/nature themes.
The name of the flower, Autumn Ruby Azalea, could actually be three differents names for triplets if they're all girls! One named Autumn, one named Ruby and one named Azalea. They would complete each other and have a beautiful meaning! I also love the idea of having a theme, for example a precious gems theme: Amber, Ruby, Topaz, Jasper, Crystal, Garnet, etc.! :)
Since the mothers name is Gemma, so playing off gem, and also the X and O in the names. The girls could be Opal and Onyx or just lovely gem names like Ruby, Pearl. For the little boy Oscar, Oakley, Ozzy or could end in O since his brothers starts on O so it's no so matchy with like Arlo, Theo, Emilio, Matteo. Or for either sex, again a play of Gemma them Jules. The year 2020 roman numerals is MMXX so to play on that something like Max for a girl or boy. Moxi, Maxi, any way you want to play with that for a first of middle name, maybe a middle name for all of them just as something fun to play on that I think is so cool!!!
I really like Roxanne, Elio and Zora. They all mean either brightness or dawn : they are all sort of linked to light and the O is a really nice vowel to make the names flow together. In a similar vibe, i also really like Lior, Zerlin and Dion. I feel like those are quite unique names and they pretty much have the same meaning, and i like names with strong consonants (like the X in Roxanne, the Z in Zora and Zerlin etc.)
I went through my list looking for names with a predominant O sound. They are mostly girl name and kind of matchy but I thought I'd leave them here :Nora, Cove, Rory, Cora and Noe. I personally love Cove, Rory and Noe (or Noah.)

Hello SJ! I’m a big fan of your baby name videos and I’ve been wanting to comment for a while because I think that I have a fairly unique and interesting name dilemma, and I’d love it if you or anyone else in this lovely community would help me out! So my partner and I are looking to start a family within the next 3 years or so and I already know that picking names is going to be a real challenge for us and here’s why: I myself am half Mexican and half white American (my name is Natasha Elina) and my partner is Brazilian with a bit of German as well. So our dilemma is that we’d need to pick names that sound beautiful when pronounced in American English, Spanish, and Portuguese! Luckily, as Spanish and Portuguese are both Romance languages, their pronunciations of names are rather similar. However! My partner has the German surname Breternitz (it’s pronounced phonetically) so we have that extra challenge of not only finding good first and middle names with all of the aforementioned requirements, but also whilst having the names sound nice with such a starkly contrasting surname! We both prefer names that are as far away from popular as possible (the name Luna is rising very quickly here in the states so that one is definitely out!) but my partner doesn’t like names that are too weird or out there either. We both love old fashioned names that haven’t been too re-popularized yet, and I really like romantic and sweet names with “L” sounds and “ee”/“ie” sounds. The only name that we have both agreed would fit all of this is the boy name Julien, so that would probably be the first name of our first boy. I haven’t seen you suggest that many Spanish or Portuguese names so I would be very excited and interested to see what you would find and suggest! And thank you in advance to anyone else that wants to help!
I'd like to suggest these names i like... Brackets have the meaning in them Celeste (Heavenly) - I feel like it goes well with Oscar (God's Spear) and also the ‘c’ ties both the names Eden (as in the Garden) - It has a Heavenly/Biblical attachment to it and goes well with the theme, I think Hansel (God is gracious) also fits in the theme. These are a bunch of fire related names/ fiery names because the babies could be born under the Aries sign: Phoenix (The mythical bird that is said to be reborn from its own ashes), Blaze (fiercely burning fire), Ember (spark, burning low), Apollo ( Greek God of Sun), Helios (Titan of Sun) [I love names so sorry if this is like a lot 😅] There's more.... For all girls: Eden, Celeste and Hansel would be a great choice since all relate to ‘Mystical’ in a sense. For all boys: Apollo, Aidan and Evan since they all have that connection to a stereotypical Aries. And they all have two syllables like Oscar. Hope at least someone likes these :)

You shouldn’t be offended if people don’t use names you suggested when they asked for your input, because it’s very likely that the names you suggested got their creative juices flowing in a way that wouldn’t have happened otherwise, enabling them to come up with the names that ended up really resonating with them.

For three boys with the friend theme, how about Edwin, Amias & David. You mentioned Edwin, and Amias and David both mean “Loved”. The strong D names could be used for the identical twins, whilst Amias could be used for the singleton, but he would have the “loved” connection with david. Another connection would be the “Y” sound, as they are pronounced “EdwYn, Dayvid & Am-Eye-us. I hope this helps at all! :)

Here’s a friendship girl name you overlooked that I think would be great: Amity. It’s a very old-school virtue name. Easy to spell and pronounce without having another kid in her class with her name, and not too long. And it literally means friendship and goodwill.
I think it would be cute to give the identical twins “c” names because it would tie into Oscar’s name with the “c” in his name, and then having the other triplet have a “o” name to tie in with the “o” in Oscar as well. I like the set Collette, Cove, and Oliver for 2 girls and a boy. The letters go nicely together. Love your videos S.J. ❤️

I feel like Lennox is one of those rare names where I don’t automatically associate it with a specific gender. I feel like it truly works so well for boys or girls.

I was expecting twin girls while I was in my last year of secondary school and while studying Shakespeare's Macbeth I came across the name Lennox and I fell absolutely in love. My girl's names are Lennox and Xanthe and I always get comments that the names are ''too out there'' but I'm obsessed, would definitely recommend those names.

What a challenge for the parents, naming 3 children at once ! My faves were Huxley, Lennox & Xanthe. I have seen Xantia as a name. I think, if they are all girls, an " A " ending on all the names would be nice. Better than all beginning with the same letter.
I’ve had Lennox at the top of my girls list since high school. I loved The Secret Garden growing up and the main characters name is Mary Lennox. Unfortunately, two people I know had nabbed in 2019 so I don’t think I’ll be using it.
My daughter who is married and has been trying for 3 years now has had the name Lennox June picked out for her daughter. Of course infertility is really hard on a family and a touchy subject. Well my husbands 18 year old niece goes and gets knocked up for the second time and steals both my daughters names. When my daughter said something to her about it she said "We don't even know if you're gonna ever have a baby so it's not fair that a perfectly good name I like too has to just not be touched. First come first served!" My poor daughter left in tears. She said "Well at least I can still name my daughter that because now I know they will never be in each other's lives!" It gets even worse, when the baby was born she spelled the name something like Lynix, which in my opinion is awful!

It's Emily Rose I play the sims so I literally watch these videos all the time to get names. One time I name my sim Marlowe because it is one of my favorite names it’s just beautiful and my friend was like “why are there so many extra letters? It should just be Marlo” and I was like “get out just leave. That’s awful just no” because that ruins the name the WE at the end make it prettier and just elegant I guess

I really love names myself. I have always taken and interest in name meanings, and have been thinking of children's names for as long as I could remember. When I was pregnant with my oldest I wanted Alaina Corinne for a girl, but my husband was not a fan of Corinne, and a friend of mine, who was a little further along in her pregnancy found out she was having a girl and picked Alaina too. I was like what are the odds!? Well I had loved the name Jocelyn since watching "A Knights Tale" with Heath Ledger. I kept trying to convince my husband and finally he agreed lol. I still really liked Alaina, but didn't care for her initials to be JAM, so I changed Alaina to Elaina. So my oldest is Jocelyn Elaina and shes my little JEM. With my second we were convinced we were having a boy, and our boy name we had picked out was Rowan Scott, had Jocelyn been a boy she would've been Rowan Caleb. We really loved the name Rowan. Everyone called my belly Rowan and I just knew I was having a boy so we struggled with girl names. I liked Irelyn Claire A LOT, and still do to this day, but I wasn't getting the best reception on it, so we decided if the baby was a girl we would name her Rowyn since we love the name so much, and I always loved Elise as a middle name. So our second child was miss Rowyn Elise. When I found out I was pregnant with our 3rd, I was like "OH no... I have no idea what names to use" We used our favorite boy name already, and I had NO idea what girl names I liked. Since my name and the girls names ended with an N I decided that the boy name would end in a Y like my husband Bobby (yep, his name is just Bobby) I looked up all y ending names and LOVED (Still do) Emory, but my husband was like absolutely not, we really struggled on names we both agreed on, until when I was looking at Irish boy names and found Finley. We both said "YES! that's it!" We had our last child and our boy and his name is Finley Scott. Scott is my husbands middle name and It just goes so well as a middle name. I love my kids names and I love telling the stories on how we came up with them.

I am a triplet myself actually. The three of us are all girls. My sisters' names are Helena and Carlotta and I am called Elisa. We don't have a second name, but it's kind of a family tradition to use the godfather or godmother's name as a second name. Maybe that's also worth considering. @@SJ_Strum One of the hardest questions to answer, to be honest. Just because I don't know it any other way.😉 But I sometimes feel like we are closer to each other than just normal siblings. A phenomenon you also see with twins a lot of the time. Anyway, at times, one hard thing is to be seen as an individual.

My sister had triplets! They are 4 years old and called Sierra, River, and Oakley. (River and Oakley are boys, Sierra is a girl.) I love their names, they are tied together by a forest/nature themes.
I have twin nieces Savannah and Sierra.
The name of the flower, Autumn Ruby Azalea, could actually be three differents names for triplets if they're all girls! One named Autumn, one named Ruby and one named Azalea. They would complete each other and have a beautiful meaning!
I also love the idea of having a theme, for example a precious gems theme: Amber, Ruby, Topaz, Jasper, Crystal, Garnet, etc.! :)
Since the mothers name is Gemma, so playing off gem, and also the X and O in the names. The girls could be Opal and Onyx or just lovely gem names like Ruby, Pearl. For the little boy Oscar, Oakley, Ozzy or could end in O since his brothers starts on O so it's no so matchy with like Arlo, Theo, Emilio, Matteo. Or for either sex, again a play of Gemma them Jules. The year 2020 roman numerals is MMXX so to play on that something like Max for a girl or boy. Moxi, Maxi, any way you want to play with that for a first of middle name, maybe a middle name for all of them just as something fun to play on that I think is so cool!!!
I really like Roxanne, Elio and Zora. They all mean either brightness or dawn : they are all sort of linked to light and the O is a really nice vowel to make the names flow together. In a similar vibe, i also really like Lior, Zerlin and Dion. I feel like those are quite unique names and they pretty much have the same meaning, and i like names with strong consonants (like the X in Roxanne, the Z in Zora and Zerlin etc.)

Hello SJ! I’m a big fan of your baby name videos and I’ve been wanting to comment for a while because I think that I have a fairly unique and interesting name dilemma, and I’d love it if you or anyone else in this lovely community would help me out! So my partner and I are looking to start a family within the next 3 years or so and I already know that picking names is going to be a real challenge for us and here’s why: I myself am half Mexican and half white American (my name is Natasha Elina) and my partner is Brazilian with a bit of German as well. So our dilemma is that we’d need to pick names that sound beautiful when pronounced in American English, Spanish, and Portuguese! Luckily, as Spanish and Portuguese are both Romance languages, their pronunciations of names are rather similar. However! My partner has the German surname Breternitz (it’s pronounced phonetically) so we have that extra challenge of not only finding good first and middle names with all of the aforementioned requirements, but also whilst having the names sound nice with such a starkly contrasting surname! We both prefer names that are as far away from popular as possible (the name Luna is rising very quickly here in the states so that one is definitely out!) but my partner doesn’t like names that are too weird or out there either. We both love old fashioned names that haven’t been too re-popularized yet, and I really like romantic and sweet names with “L” sounds and “ee”/“ie” sounds. The only name that we have both agreed would fit all of this is the boy name Julien, so that would probably be the first name of our first boy. I haven’t seen you suggest that many Spanish or Portuguese names so I would be very excited and interested to see what you would find and suggest! And thank you in advance to anyone else that wants to help!
I'd like to suggest these names i like... Brackets have the meaning in them
Celeste (Heavenly) - I feel like it goes well with Oscar (God's Spear) and also the ‘c’ ties both the names
Eden (as in the Garden) - It has a Heavenly/Biblical attachment to it and goes well with the theme, I think
Hansel (God is gracious) also fits in the theme.
These are a bunch of fire related names/ fiery names because the babies could be born under the Aries sign:
Phoenix (The mythical bird that is said to be reborn from its own ashes), Blaze (fiercely burning fire), Ember (spark, burning low), Apollo ( Greek God of Sun), Helios (Titan of Sun)

For all girls: Eden, Celeste and Hansel would be a great choice since all relate to ‘Mystical’ in a sense.

For three boys with the friend theme, how about Edwin, Amias & David. You mentioned Edwin, and Amias and David both mean “Loved”. The strong D names could be used for the identical twins, whilst Amias could be used for the singleton, but he would have the “loved” connection with david. Another connection would be the “Y” sound, as they are pronounced “EdwYn, Dayvid & Am-Eye-us. I hope this helps at all! :)

Darwin is the capital of the NT here in Australia so that's my first thought when I hear it. Though both the monkey and the city are named after Charles Darwin :)
