You shade according to your reference. Most people know the difference between liners, and shaders. Each needle has its purpose, but no matter what purpose it may be, you can get pretty much the same effect rather its a 7,9, or 13 mag. The more needles you use the wider the area covered. And asking questions is a part of paying their dues. If the person that commented bout that is a tattooist then i say shame on you. You probably think your shit dont stink too.

Not at pro but it looks like the size of the skull there’s 2 mags involved 5,7 and liners round 3,5. Could be wrong that’s what I would use
