    Great episode. Love the information sharing with Brent. I love finding out about the builds and I think it's great to know the sources of the parts and also the history of the bikes.

    I am curious how that year i believe he said was a 2009 has the 103 cubic inch engine when Harley didn't release the 103 till 2012 in the softails

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Good catch Larry! You are absolutely correct.This build did have a 96 rather than a 103. I'll take responsibility for this one. Prior to turning on the cameras I was asking Brent about my 103 in my 2015 and probably had him thinking 103. I really appreciate you watching Speed & Kolor and correcting us. Please keep watching and fact checking us.

      Pretty sure it's a heritage classic not a deluxe.....unless they changed the dash and passing lights.

    Turn the highway bar into an air tank,add another solenoid and a 170-200 psi pressure switch and now you have a fast up air ride suspension

    What kind of fenders and rear size ? Steel or fiberglass

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I apologize for the delayed response. I’ve been trying to get in touch with Brent but I think he’s been travelling. I believe the fenders are from Dirty Bird. They are steel and the rear was stretched an additional 4” inches house at PFX. If I’m wrong on any of this I’ll let you know as soon as I connect with Brent.
      Thanks for watching and for your question.

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Okay, now I’ve got the correct answer. Both fenders are steel and from Klock Werks. Front is for a 26” wheel. Rear is stock fitment but stretched 6”. Hope this helps you out. 👍

    The big wheel makes the bike look lowered in the back

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Robert. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. The front wheel does accentuate the front end and make the rear look smaller and lower. It’s a great look. As well, this bike rides nice and handles very well.

    Beautiful Vicla! It’s the first time I have seen a compressor run constantly with the ignition on though, or was it running to build up pressure?

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Brendan, thanks for watching and for your question. The compressor only runs until the desired pressure is met. PFX did a great job on this bike. Brent and his team definitely know their stuff.

    Where did that seat come from ??

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi Nomad, thanks for watching and asking your question. The seat is a Drag Specialties. I’m not sure of the exact model but it looks like it would be from the Predator series. It was originally black. PFX had it recovered by a local upholstery shop to better suit the root beer paint. If you go to about 33 minutes into the video Brent talks about the seat. Let me know if you have other questions.

    can someone tell me why do they put a big tire in front. Its looks like a big wheel, a kids toy. I was born in the 70s

    • @speedandkolor
      @speedandkolor  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello Comedy, thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Why do hot chicks wear hot rod red lipstick? Cause it looks so darn good. Same is true big front wheels and just about everything else we do to customize bikes. Yes, some big wheels handle really well and ride nice, not all though. Is it worth the investment? I would say only if you really love the look. May be true of chicks too.
      I was born in the 50s … I love chrome yellow deuce coupes, shoebox Chevy’s, shovelhead choppers, muscle cars, baggers, everything in between and most of all, chicks with hot rod red nails and lipstick. Is any of it logical or can it be explained? Nope. It is who we are and we should wear it.
      Thanks again for watching Speed & Kolor!

      Its the "Cholo" style. It wouldnt be one, if it didnt have one. Is there a limit to that size? Maybe. Thats the owners choice. If its too big and rides bad, then it gets changed and a smaller one is used. Simple😊

    to much jibber jabber! could have shortened it down to 15 minutes. Still no information on the size of the wheel and neck situation. Big thumbs down!

      Hi Shameless. Thanks for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it. Your input will be considered for future episodes. I don’t want to guess on the front wheel so I’ll check with Brent for specs and get back to you.
