she basically said that the bank doesn't need your signature on the pan card they only care about the pan number as it is already linked to your aadhar
but in some legal documents you might need to attach a photocopy of your pan card and in that the signature on the pan card is required
In that case you can just take a permanent marker and sign your pan card yourself but it should only be on that white strip and nowhere else on the card
