Olly Builds a miniature kids car. It's a 3/4 Scale WW2 Willys Jeep built from Suzuki Jimny and Honda Quad parts. The Jeep will have fully operational Four Wheel Drive, with Locking Wheel Hubs and will run on petrol. The Ideal Kids Project at Home, and the Ultimate Kids Toy to Keep Kids Occupied.
In this Episode, we show how to Build a Mini 4x4 Car, how to Build and Make Suspension Mounts, How to Build and Make Coilover Brackets, and also how to Build and Make Engine Mounts, how to use a Metal Folder Metal Guillotine with Metal Roller, how to use a Mig Welder, how to use a Metal Grinder, how to use a Cone Drill bit, and how to use a Pedestal Drill. We also Show how to Fit and test Suspension and Fit Engine.

The tabs are welded to the back side of the posts, and the front side of the braces. Therefore they are removable/boltable 😉👍

what is the T-case from ? what are the axles ? thanks
T-case and axles are from a Suzuki Jimny, outer axles are cut down and we used just the short side inner axle (no inner axles were harmed during the making of this series.. :)

It uses the trx250 Quad gearbox which has a shaft output. This is mated to the Suzuki Jimny transfer box to provide full 4 wheel drive.

How much did you spend all in this project?
I have a 2009 Kia Rio SX here (perfect engine and tranny condition buy rotten unibody) that i wanna cannibalize and strip and convert into a mini jeep too.
The Jimny cost me £1000 (seized engine and rotten body), and I picked the quad up for £300 (non runner). I've spent around £1500 so far on wheels, tyres, shocks, steel (box section and sheet). Still a bit to go (dials, lights, windscreen etc. etc..) but most of the structural spend is done.
There are quite a few episodes after this one (links in description), we are now halfway throught the body build. Next episode (16) covers body panels so really starting to look like a Willys Jeep now. 😍
