@@chocolateearrings well I find that the black cord that goes to the trunk latch is still intact with the assembly. It doesn’t look broken. So I’m pretty sure it’s the trunk latch but I can’t even get in the trunk. Any advice ?
@alexanderlopez-zacarias3848 I'm not entirely sure what else to you can do other than keep searching for videos on it. In my case, the assembly was damaged which led to the ill-fitted cord. Sorry this happened, and hope it works out

@@alexanderlopez-zacarias3848You need to put down back seats and crawl in. There is a latch release in the trunk frame. There are videos on it.
