      “Subconsciously “ seem like the Key 🔑 blocking the analytical conscious mind from being in the way, which allows the right brain, the creative side to thrive.

    It is so beautiful when people connect to create music!!!! I love it. Most of the time I create music alone and can be a very very lonely process but music is the best companion on those nights.
    Co-create is a totally different process. Both are beautiful.
    Thank you Philip for sharing this!

    I know it's crazy but it works for me the best. I did this 10+ years ago on a song (the only song) that I've ever written and it's the most liked, downloaded and favorited song on my Soundcloud. It all started with "freestyling" to the beat line by line until I came up with the verses. It all flowed and was the fastest track I've ever done. Now I can refine it and re-record it and put it on my album for next year.

    Nothing screams "quality" like a track that was banged out in an hour, a track where they just winged it with the melody and the lyrics. No doubt this technique works well for rap songs, but I don't think it would help when it comes to writing good music.

  • @vektacular
    @vektacular 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Hmmmmm….not sure. I don’t get down with any music from today. Matter of fact to me the most talented viewed people in the game are talentless (without talent) the industry is all about making quantity over quality today. I believe the problem is this very method. I get that it may make song writing easier but usually the hardest thing and the correct thing…are the same thing.

      Jay Z nor Biggie punched in.
      Punching in is a new thing once digital studios became more accessible. That started to blow up with the trap rappers.
      Big and Jay wrote in their heads. They still wrote in a sense but not literally on paper. They memorized lines quickly.
      And from stories biggie was the first. His second album was all memorized but the first album was split.
