If you didn't have a soul before you were born, how could God have possibly known you BEFORE he formed you in your mother's womb?

Seems I read in the bible, that there are souls in heaven, waiting for bodies here on the earth, and God warns us, it is better not to have children, because their chance of making it back will be minimal. It's better not to have children so I don't think that there are souls that will go into bodies that are created here on this earth, just going from what I believe. My first two children babies died, and I know that they went to heaven, they had just got here, they went right back!
