Not Impressed.
Whoever "neutered" the lyrics from the historical hymn removing Christ as a groom, a man, and the church as a woman, His bride, was intentional and with meaning.
When the hymn was originally written it was written with intent and with meaning then as well because it was already written down that way in the Bible.
The tempo is too fast, also.
