🙏🏼 excellent interview and information. Carnatic music does bring peace and hope.
As a hindustani vocalist, i know that we give opportunity to the tablist and harmonium/sarod or sitar accompaniments. Although the opportunity is not timed like after aalaap they will do solo or after taan they will do solo. The solo performance of the accompaniments happens spontaneous.

ராமாணுஜன் Mathematics fomula எழுதி உலகப் புகழ் பெற்றார்.காசு சம்பாதிக்கல.இது music எழுதி பணம் சம்பாதிக்குது. அவருக்கு திமிரு.இல்லவே இல்ல. இதுக்கு நுணி வர திமிரு. அது எப்டி தம்பி ஒரு தாழ்த்தப்பட்ட ஆள தலமேல வச்சுக்கிறீங்க. கட்டிப் புடுச்சு தழுவிகாகிறீங்க. என்ன ajenda . இப்ப உஙாகாத்த பொம்னாட்டியும் கௌம்பி வந்துட்டாங்க. பெரியார பாடுனா மட்டும் பொத்துக்கிட்டு வருது. எதோ குசும்புனு சொல்லுவாங்களே அது இதுதானா.

Heyram songs credits for the kaushiks and illayaraja sir for improvisation .everyone would have enjoyed the hindustani forms .duo have picked up to give a carrnatic show case ? Could have requested to present for the hey ram fans from raga wisdom .
It is true that a particular group dominates in the carnatic region .besides others will not get any recognition in the field .

Carnatic sangeetham keka nalla thaan irukkum...generally speaking music itself gives a feeling of trance, relaxes the mind and relieves stress due to the release of neurotransmitters in the brain. But carnatic is the music of the so called high class and elite groups..how is it fair to teach the music only amongst the same class through guru shishya for generations.
