You've gained a new subscriber! I'm entirely casual as a PvP player and only play for the title grind, but these guides have made me really think about how I play and how to consider other players' abiltiies to get the win.
Been playing around with this job lately and I’ve been having so much fun playing around with its kit. It’s really well-designed and flows great, you can intuitively understand the game plan once you get the feel of it. Great job to the devs. I’m still not sure about the community’s stance but this job is good when performed optimally, like really good. I wonder how SMNs feel about this job compared to their own. Both of them fulfill similar roles to nuke crowds.
Love playing Picto, it reminds me of MCH pre-PvP rework. Also it's interesting seeing your DC's PvP culture. Over here on Elemental, JPs will stick together and follow a leader making it much more difficult to pick off stragglers. If you're overconfident and push forward like you do several times in the video, more often than not you'll just get picked off and killed. It would be interesting to see you create a character on Elemental and try your PvP skills here!
I do love its MCH style of cycling through actions to setup different plays :D. Man I am jealous we get far to many right now only interested in throwing a game fast for exp but a good amount off rounds still slap :D I might try that idea someday try PVP across data centres
Love your vids! I came back to ff from season 1 of crystalline conflict maining ninja and when I came back a month or so before Dawntrail it felt so bad cause of all the cumulative nerfs. Your videos convinced and taught me black mage and I absolutely love it! Keep up the great work
I found it fitting leaving a comment here. Was an honor pvping with you. Can't say I didn't learn at least a bit from this video! Enjoy DT and to more great matches!
@@_pycoco Yea I did not think we would win that round considering how many kept getting spawn camped by the Immortals with the other half the team ignoring that XD Thanks for the Shields I did notice a second Pictomancer running around with me and Bunny :D
Picto does so well with a coordinated team (though TBH, all jobs can do well) I tried another match after watching this and tried to replicate what you did and it ended up getting me 11 kills more than the 2nd place player. Ended the match with a staggering 21 KOs with 1.4m damage. It was a complete massacre. Thanks for the burst idea!
Playing this like Black Mage is truly an apt description, at least until you think of how much you Aetherial Manipulate in place for Swiftcast is as a double-edged sword. Pictomancer is decidedly not as ticklish as to dive to their deaths, comparatively. Less stress, more paint! :)
While Picto is such a fun job in PvP, a discussion between me and a friend trying to figure out what is a Picto's weakness led to us believing this job is gonna get nerfed due to what it can do. I do think that Bards and Red Mages could pick them off though but thats only if they get help with all the sustain Picto has. Great vid as always!
I was thinking the same is this going to get it nerfed or is this the new standard which the other jobs will be getting in the 7.1 rework going to be interesting to see :D

Couldn't agree more it was well designed its quite easy to hit those 20 kill games on :D a lot off the players I know are not a fan

It's surprising how different the other data centers play PvP. Interesting guide.
Thanks very much
Helped get me from 850k-1.1 to over 1.5 mil every time since watching this. You’re awesome man, and that 3mil dmg is insane
Glad it could help :D and thanks very much

Was that you I met at the end off that match XD good comeback that round was :D hopefully will meet you in more :D
@@salamanderYT was indeed me! Felt a bit lost at first then I thought "Let's just shield and support sala. 2 - 3 mil Viper damage the dream!"

excellent guide, will now paint terror on crystal dc with this knowledge
Go fourth and do thy deed, also if you where to stand over a player painting a motif into the sky is that Pictomancer version of the T-bag XD
Not if Crystal DC paints it on you first!
Thank you for the video! I'm excited to try this in pvp.
Good luck you got this :D
First round after watching these tips gave me a 5 kill 1 death 30 assists with 1 million damage
Nicely done doubled by game 3 ;)

Nicely done it is not easy to get a 20 plus match :D glad to see the burst worked out :D

I chase them down with reaper
Hard CC counters PCT. So jobs like NIN, WAR and MNK.
a picto out of position gets ganked hard, they're extremely squishy without Smudge and Tempura. They suck at 1v1
Quick correction man it should be “Strategies”, good video yet again thanks!
My dyslexic ass will get it right one day I swear XD
