J.P. Rameau - "Tristes apprêts, pâles flambeaux" from Castor et Pollux (Organ Solo)

This video is featuring a wonderful and intense Aria masterfully created by a composer I have only started performing in recent years and with whom I have totally fallen in love: Jean-Philippe Rameau.
Rameau is considered one of the greatest French musicians and the first theoretician of classical harmony.
Together with his harpsichord production, Rameau's opera constitutes the most important part of his musical contribution and marks the apogee of French classicism.
In the touching Aria "Tristes apprêts, pâles flambeaux" - taken from the Opera "Castor et Pollux" - Télaïre expresses his grief for the death of his beloved Castor.
This is one of Rameau's most famous arias, which I present in my version for solo organ.
Welcome to this TH-cam channel aimed at providing some quality online documentation concerning the "Camillo Guglielmo Bianchi" organ located in the Consolata Sanctuary, Turin (Italy).
Audio or audio-video file will be regularly uploaded, all recorded LIVE.
The sound will be captured with Zoom H5 audio recorder (96kHz / 24bit), while footage will be filmed with Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.
The intent is to create a database of the musical literature performed by me, titular organist in this prestigious sanctuary, right during the religious services along the Liturgical Year or during the organ auditions, between one Mass and another.
