I have toured the world giving concerts, having the pleasure of playing the most beautiful and versatile organs, suitable for performing all the original literature as well as complex transcriptions.
That said, the purpose of this channel is mostly to let known the historical organ I am titular since 26 years now.
It is located in Italy, precisely in Turin, in the Sanctuary of the Consolata.
The instrument is 160 years old and has an entirely mechanical transmission, which complicates the performance a bit (due to the heaviness of the keyboards).
Nonetheless, it will be my priority to bring out the best from it, enhancing its qualities.
Alternately, I will also post videos of other organs that I happen to play during my concert activity.

Roberto Bertero performing various authors on 6 different organs!
Video born as a school project, with the aim of offering young students a few nuggets of knowledge about what an organ is, idea then slightly expanded and converted into a promo video for this TH-cam channel.
Indeed, the aim is the same: to condense into a few minutes a cross-section of organ building art and great musical literature (original and transcribed) and thus present, even to neophytes, the king of instruments! Not an easy task, especially in Italy, where the organ is often ignored if not even misunderstood.

Maestro io ho composto L'ALBERO DELLA MIA FOLLIA, opera teatratrale sull' inquinamento. Ecco un breve stralcio: Dalla terra non vedo più nulla. Dove sei stella… guidami ti prego. Dove sei Ninetta? Tu vedi…puoi guidarmi…puoi abbracciarmi…puoi tenermi tra le tue ampie braccia? Non lasciarmi da solo…guidami ti prego!!! Portami su quei lidi felici. Hai notato l’ albero? La sua linfa sfinita…i suoi coprirami non più armoniosi… sono scomparsi. Non appaiono più…non sono che come un tempo ormai remoto. Lo senti…lo percepisci quel suono particolare? Viene da quella cattedrale gotica…è in essa che un organo a canne riprende il brano Canon di Pachelbel. Quando lo ascolto sento in me tristezza e malinconia, gioia e furore…ma il sentimento per te non cambia. Avvolgimi in te…prenditi tutto quello che vuoi e portami con te…altrove, ovunque ma non qui.

nell' opera ho riportato una cattedrale gotica pur sapendo che il Santuario della Consolata è du stile barocco. Ciò è stato fatto di proposito in quanto amo molto le cattedrali gotiche. Tutto qui
