You can nest audio on the same track so if you make a cut then nest one track copy the others go into the nested sequence and paste the others, that's how I nest audio tracks it's pretty quick. Great vid BTW
there is the plugin for Pr called "Excalibur", which can do nesting you want. It can nest only audio.. and it can nest video+audio on timeline (you don't need to drag and drop nested seq from project panel)
The text based edit is awesome, i use it to cut the audio on a two person talking head, cutting the lav of the person not talking, it really reduces the echo.
I knew I was gonna learn again some new ways to save time on my editing! Lila never disappoints! Didn't know I could just press F to find the clip within the project. I used to right click - reveal in project every time.
Those are two different things though! Reveal in project is to find the clip in the project. “F” is to open that specific frame in the source monitor, which is super helpful to find the video or audio of a clip :))
@@lilafromyoutube Yea but I usually search for the clip in project for selecting a different part of the same clip (between good takes and safety shots) so pressing F and having it on the source monitor instantly is super helpful :)
Lila this was a flawless video, and very beneficial to me. I'm still using Premiere Pro (despite being tempted to try FCP or DR!) and some of your tips were very helpful. Nice opener with Adobe Podcast Enhance, seamless integration for Track Club, nice mention of Editors Keys (I should get these!) and fantastic ending on J&L cuts with a link to see more. Well done on another fantastic video!
@@lilafromyoutube My pleasure! No not yet, but this is the second example I've seen today (watched Becki and Chris vlog earlier that it was used in) so I will definitely check it out. I'm moving house in a few weeks and plan to start vlogging once in the new place, which will bring echoey audio from empty rooms, so hoping the enhance helps!
Text Based Editing . Not Just A Video. But A Series. Yes. Please. Thank You. Insert Heart emoji here. :) P.S. Get Javier, Valentina and Premiere Gal in on it too.
I really enjoy your videos - but for me the Premiere Pro Tip I wished I had known sooner was to cut that tie from my bank account to Adobe and switch to Davinci Resolve and Affinity software. I paid money to Adobe every year since 1995 to 2012 and the relief of disconnecting that tie, has been really something I wished I could have done sooner. But I like your videos, and people work different ways. If anyone else ever does the change over, my advice is to get it in your mind that they are two different softwares. A lot of people that switch, expect Resolve to do everything exactly the way, that it's done in Premiere and you have a big leg up with experience, but most things can be done. But they may have different ways to get there. I see a lot of people , dip their toes in Resolve and then complain. Ten years of muscle memory, won't change over night.
I believe different NLEs are made for different people. For some, premiere is great. For others it’s davinci or Final Cut. Depends on how your brain works and what one finds important! There’s no bad or good NLE. :)
Yes please on the text editing. 😊
Plus thanks for the reminder about Adobe Mic Check.

Hi Lila, Where you using the Amaran t4c or t2c for your color in the back?
Both! T4C on my left and T2C on my right
@@lilafromyoutube Ohh. That is interesting. Thank you for replying.
You are AMAZERING! Thank you!!!!
I learn more from your videos than any other content provider.
With the auto log conversion, do you still use cinematch or filmconvert after that?
Depends on the project! Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. I still like how cinematch converts LOG.
Love you Lila.❤❤
Always 🔥🔥 tips espicially for a newer creator! Thanks Lila!
Epic!! Any tips that stood out for you??

Amazing tips from Lila as usual! ♥
GREAT tips thanks!
The best way to sync all your clip is to use multicam, does all clips at once. Larry
This is great! Thank you.
Kendi klavye ayarlarımı bozmak istemiyorum ama güzel bir video :D

Great tips👍
What’s your favourite tip?
@@lilafromyoutube all of them👍, I'm testing premiere again. Been of it for awhile, but some say it's more stabil now.
Yeah the newest update should be the most stable one
Urghh at :41 where is this setting in premiere beta?
Project settings > color. They moved it so it’s project based now
@@lilafromyoutube the two options are display color management and extended dynamic range monitoring
I don’t see the option for Log to Rec 709
@@lilafromyoutube the auto button seems to work well just have to do it per clip that’s the only solution I found in premiere beta
Why no chapters?
there’s hundreds more tips I can give but can’t fit them all in one video haha
Oh whoops you meant video chapters. I thought chapter markers. I haven’t gotten around to adding those yet!
This channel is going to have a million subscribers within a year I guarantee
haha that would be cool! Since it’s a guarantee I will screenshot this
Lila, you're a GENIUS!
Ooohh stop (please keep going) 🤣🤣🤣
Great tips
Really helpful..Keep it up.
Thanks! What was your favourite tip?
@@lilafromyoutube TBH every tip is useful...But Automatically convert log footage to Rec 709 is on top.
