FROM BASIC TO OTHERWORLDLY
Solid colour backdrops are timeless, but perhaps you'd rather go to outer space today. The AK-R21 is a slide projector designed for most Godox round head flashes or any speedlite, allowing you to project simple patterns or complex scenes on your subjects or backgrounds.
DELUXE KIT INCLUDES EVERYTHING YOU NEED
The standard kit other retailers sell doesn't include the speedlite adapter or any slides. The Deluxe kit Strobepro has put together includes all 60 AK-S slides, the AK-R25 speedlite adapter and the standard kit which includes the projector, slide holder, 65mm lens, and round head adapter.
FOCUS OR DEFOCUS
Bring your projections into sharp clarity, create a beautiful bokeh effect, or set focus somewhere in between. You have creative control over the look of your projection.
FULL SLIDE SET
Our kit comes with all 60 slides that are currently available, from simple patterns, to abstract compositions, to recognizable scenes.
65MM LENS
We include Godox's 65mm lens option for the AK-R21. The 65mm focal length is suitable for a range of applications.
COMPATIBILITY
The AK-R21 can be used on the V1, AD100 Pro, or AD200 Round Head. The included speedlite adapter allows you to use the AK-R21 on any brand speedlite as well.

Thanks for the fantastic overview
That thing is so cool! I have one of the larger Bowens mount modifyers that uses the metal gobos. But its really big and heavy. This one is really cool, compact and I would love to use actual film!
Excellent presentation
Hi, how much light power is lost when using the snoot? For example, I use another one for the AD600 and I can get a maximum of F5.6 when putting the light 3m away from the wall. If I use a Godox AD200 with the AK-R21, what F-stop would I get from say 3m away?
Thanks for the answer.
Light loss is significant, but fresnel heads like the one that ships with the AD200 actually cope a little better with these types of modifiers than bare bulb strobes like the AD600. In fact, an AD200 was able to outperform an AD600 when we tested them in our proprietary optical snoot.
I don't have exact numbers for f-stop loss with Godox's AK-R21 projector, but I don't think you'll find the AD200's power lacking with this modifier in a studio environment.
Its supposed to be two stops
Could this be used to make a circular spotlight without any pattern slides used?
of course
I’ve got the round flash head with the AD200. Will this fit, or will I need the adapter with the standard fresnel head?
Yes it will fit the round head.
It fits round head but significant power loss, fresnel head is considerably stronger ive heard
what if i have the h200r round head on Ad200? no need an adaptor?
In that case, you would not need the adapter. It mount directly just like it does on the AD100 Pro or V1
thank you@@Strobepro
I can't get my head around why Godox or any third party hasn't made any classic gobo slides to go with AK-R21.
you can just shoot your own ones on film to use with this 😉
