Tecumseh 1967 Rupp continental Electra engine rebuild run-in.

Run in and ready for paint, Stock rebuild, 3 angle valve seat recuts, new valves Crankshaft correction from wear, Block swap to reduce costs for customer, and keep it std bore size. Rebuilt original carb, serviced electrical, tank damage repaired and internally sealed, and replica 7 hole muff made and installed.

how can you find out how old tecumseh engines are?

Starting by later 1962 Tecumseh made engines used a date code for the serial number. The numbers restarted each decade though, but decade can be determined by model revision digit, and how its outfitted/setup. Service repair manuals usually have an explanation and location points noted in the first section of the repair books.
