You have to compare bbs at the same weight. Obviously the 3D printed ones are gonna be dookie, however, weight plays a huge factor in how the bbs will fly. Generally, .12 is considered Walmart trash, .20 is as low weight as you can go with most mid to low end guns, .25 is generally the average weight used. If the field isn’t restricted .28+ is what you normally see in most high end guns.

Nahhhh I think i like the other one more. This right here is absolute bs, biggest cap I ever seen. A 3D printed BB will never be as good as a industrialy produced BB because of all the printing flaws. And also I don't quite understand how a GBB pistol can deal this much damage to a poor Pepsi can with 10g BB and how he can even aim the can with print flaws.

Isn't it just far more simple to buy them, instead of printing them? In one go, you can make ~50 of them, and that's basicaly nothing. Oh, and becase the remoal process, they can jam, if you dont sand them individualy.

you can tell this guy has absolutely no idea about airsoft, 3d printed BBS! not pellets are not perfect that mean it will effect the inner barrel and it wont go straight no more cuz it will be scratched inside from the 3d printed bbs, and airsoft bbs are muxh more smooth and perfect especially 20g (white ones) cuz its literally ment to be perfect and smooth for the gun, also thats the reson you dont re-use bbs.
Try resin printing the bbs, idk how doable it is but theres lots of issues tryna FDM print spheres especially at airsoft bb size. Ntm the FDM ones were far lighter, the resin ones will probably shatter but they might be a bit heavier lending for better shots, id be real curious to see. I live in NYC so unfortunately i cant test it myself as airsoft is illegal here -__- lol

as an airsoft player i must say that these printed BB's will totaly destroy ur gun, cause of their material, weight and also shape... but these "real" airsoft "pellets" in this video will do the same as printed ones, they are the most cheap looking BB's i've ever seen😂

I would like to take your video as a serious comparison, but unfortunately in airsoft the weight of the ball plays a role and thus affects the performance of the gun and yes 0.05g is the difference
3d printed will also jam the gun or have the bb stuck in the barrel due to the unusual shape of the 3d printed one
While factory made airsoft pellets are obviously going to be better, this wasn't a fair test. The "real" pellets should have been the same or as close as possible weight to be used as a constant. 3d printed pellets are definitely still going to be inferior to injected molded pellets

You can make weighted airsoft pellets by stopping the print halfway while also having a dent in the center put a metal BB inside and then finish off the print
The 3D printed ones will have imperfections, this scratches the barrel of the airsoft gun and ruins it. No matter how cheap it is just don’t do it
