That first dress was absolutely gorgeous on her.. The problem with most everybody is , that when they think wedding dress, everybody automatically think white ☹️… A wedding dress is whatever the bride really wants to wear …not to please anyone else, but herself and the groom 👏👏

I hate to be a buzzkill, but I thought she looked lovely in everything she tried on. I also don't think y'all understand the cultural implications of offending the groom's family. In some cultures, you aren't just marrying your spouse, but the entire family.
But that's exactly the problem. We don't live in the middle ages anymore - no matter the cultural background. And families need to understand that. Not your wedding - not your call!
Still though, you're not impressing the family, you're impressing the groom/bride. If the family is upset then that's their problem, the intimacy and love is between the bride and groom.
And cultures like mine that have that issue NEED TO EVOLVE. Not a single person should have an issue with how a bride dresses at a wedding.

Well, she told him that that is what she _used_ to dress like. In a much earler phaze of her life. Ergo, it's not her now. If it was, she wouldn't have been so overjoyed with the dress she chose. And she didn't come there dress in that heavy goth either, did she? That's her past, not her future. She may still like the aesthetic. So incorporate goth in the wedding in a different way, with a nod to goth. Have a goth wedding cake! There.

Rmes, I'm sick of these brides caving to please Everyone but themselves. Obviously the grooms family approves or they wouldn't be marrying. I'm sick of how politically correct these brides are forced to be. With all the restrictions shes being forced to accept, she should walk away. Are the families sharing their house and bed too?
