I only use food grade 5 gallon buckets for my small scale operation so I just use soap and water. I do have a few 55 gallon drums that I plan to start using in the future which I'll probably bleach just because it seems hard to get them completely dry.
You know I wash in Hot soapy water after the season. I air dry thoroughly and store in the barn. I have never sanitized, but would be interested to see what others do as well.
