DAMN! This was one hell of a performance! I've learned by now that Zelma can very well sing, but I had no idea she could blow like this!!!!! She was on EQUAL footing with Martha's powerful vocals here!!!! OMG. Zelma really was the whole package. This girl should've been a STAR!!!! When her and Martha did their vocalizing together near the end I was damn near jumping out of my chair like I was there! Lol. Everything about this was AWESOME!!!!! Now THIS is how you put on a show!!!! C+C were amazing performers no doubt. A lot of acts that came out of the early 90s were no slackers on the stage! Such an energetic era!
Martha Wash is way more appealing and sexy than the woman c&c music factory used to lip sync in her place. Apparently the fill in can sing so why not use her voice from the get go? Bc no one can compare to the amazing voice of Ms. Martha Wash that's why! 💜💜💜
Quite simply the industry is a beast. Folks were always trying to recreate Martha’s sound but they could never replace her. This lead vocalist can actually sing. But I agree, there was never any need for comparison or replacement. Cool video tho!

Martha Wash is such a powerhouse with her voice! I’m so glad she fought and paved the way for singers to get recognized and acknowledged!

Because Martha has a fuller voice. And any time a powerhouse singer sang on a house music song, it was a number 1 hit
