I think Karla simply didn't notice the pitch of the notes when she was singing, she had to learn those independently, and a bass line is an easy way to start.
He didn’t. Why people in the comments are taking it so personal? He never intended to humiliate her (and I am not defending him) and I completely understand she has autism. But Matt wasn’t humiliating her he was just saying the truth she doesn’t sing well. I mean think about it what’s more humiliating? For him to tell her the truth that she’s not a very good singer? Or to lie and say she’s a very good singer like Mariah Carey and leave her to humiliate herself by doing something she knows she needs practice of? I would prefer 1000 times they tell me the truth on my face than to let him lie and I would feel the shame through me. All he was trying to do was being honest. Sometimes is better to tell the truth bro.
Aw, Karla's adorable when she smiles and gets into the rhythm 😊

I have Asperger's, like Karla. We need some time to enjoy group activities because of our developing social skills.
