  • Thomas Dambo is a Danish environmental art activist and one of the world’s leading recycling artists. His prolific work spans over 20 years and can be found in Europe, Asia, Australia, and the United States.
    NWTrolls: Way of the Bird King features six giant hand-built troll sculptures by, Thomas Dambo. The publicly-accessible sculptures are located/hidden around the Pacific Northwest where each whimsical troll sculpture is part of an underlying environmental story.
    Bruun Idun is the troll located in West Seattle at Lincoln Park and today we are going to find him.

      Yeah it was pretty cool, and yeah Ruby didn’t care 🤣. I’ve seen videos of others around the world and when I heard he made some in the Pacific Northwest I knew we had to go find them and see them in person. It is an awesome park!

    My GS and I both love watching Ruby’s walks. My first GS was smaller and a lot like Ruby in temperament, obedience and curiosity. We’d hike and bike all over central PA exploring towns, parks and college campuses just like you and Ruby. I was a younger man then. Those times with Gorgar were the best years of my life! Very nostalgic watching you two.

      Thank you so much! That’s awesome! I’m happy that Ruby’s videos brings back nostalgia. I can relate, most of these places are where I used to walk with my other dog before Ruby. She was with me for almost 20 years, when she was 13 I got puppy Ruby so they spent almost 7 years together. These are just the tip of the iceberg of the places we used to explore.
