Thanks for this series. Very helpful. Another place where the musical analogy works is when you get to the point in playing your instrument or aircraft when you don't think about what your hands are doing any more.
I loved the video! At 1st I was like what is this "kid" going to teach me about flow!!! I ate my words after watching! Adding that dynamic while flying gives such a better flight and improves your flow definitely!
You creating one of the best videos about tricks, style, flow and all of that mystic things that makes FPV flying look epic and about which most pilots don's seem to want to talk and you explain them very clearly. Thank you so much, great job ;)
Love your trick series ❤ really helped me become a better pilot 💯🚀 Fully agree that FPV is an art form. The sky is the canvas and the quad your brush 😁
Thanks! I'll consider making a video on my favorite trick combinations, but it won't be part of the Advanced Trick Theory series since there is not much to teach in terms of combining tricks; it's just doing multiple tricks back to back.
Great explanation of flow man. Love how you compared it to music, epically how most freestyle pilots use music in there videos. I feel as tho this will help them fly more to the vibes of their music!
Nice one. I'm trying to implement more flow. For now it's going not to well but I'm flying like 7 months. If you have time would you like to say something what should focus at begining? :) Cheers
Thanks! Flying as much as possible is the best way to improve. Also, having a goal for each flight will speed up the process. Focus on a single trick like yaw spins or a single concept like continuous motion.
Yup. That's what I'm doing. To be honest I'm watching your clip every single time when I'm going for training and I'm trying to train three days per week and rest to fly for fun. :) Thanks for your good work of sharing tricks.
Too true, and every painting is different, never the same! Thanks for the vid, off flying now, wont pack a Guitar or Trombone but get the drift, good comparison, music! Not sure if I could fly with music, could be quite distracting but then again, it would be cool to fly to the track you intend using in your vid, that could be really cool. I am running my Mobius HD Cam pointing backwards today, then I can run the DVR (Forward) footage in a small Picture-n-Picture on the main Rear Cam Video, it looks so cool with my wide angle HD Cam. I have made a few vids rearward but not since I can do new tricks, will be interesting. Thanks again man!
Very nice explanations and comparisons.I think this will help out alot of people. In the future i see people choreographing flights to specific music.maybe some classical music perhaps. I think that would be nice. Anyways. nice video and happy ripping!
Nice one. I am impressed (again) how you manage to bring your message across in such a concise way in one shot of recording and only one flight. You have a talent for making educational content. Interesting the link you make between fpv freestyle and music. i always wondered if people with a background in playing instruments would pick up fpv more easily, or would perhaps be able to progress faster. look at steele and skitzo for example, very skille and expressive freestlye pilots and great musicians too. I agree that rythm is important. the tension-flow pattern to me seems inherently linked to the need in most freestyle tricks to quickly acclerate or throw the quad to oppose gravity (tension) and then use the visual feedback recover (release), thinking of a single trick only. Could be thought of also in terms of the progression of the flight over a longer duration perhaps. Personally, when I think of flow, it is the state of mind where I do the things without thinking, be totally present in the moment and somehow know exactly what i should do next. In flying this as a result shows some smooth flying. Anyways, i was wondering, have you ever tried flying with a high camera uptilt (above 60 deg). I recently got into it, very interesting, perhaps something to talk about in your trick series? Cheers!
Thanks! I have never tried flying with a high camera angle; I have always flown with 30 degrees of tilt or less since I usually fly at spots with a lot of closely packed obstacles.
Very good analogy with music and flying. I’m a professional musician and I know exactly what you mean. Let me remind you that you forget one key thing: improvisation! Keep on the good work you do. Greetings from Slovenia 🇸🇮

I vape like a wild man between flights, keeps me calm and a great way to test wind direction, lol.
@@BrigzyFPV hahahah that made me lol, i do the same, test wind direction with vapor before doing a knife edge or inverted yaw spin 😁
@@TheVapingFPV ejuice during, more interesting vaping while walking home, I love vaping! Lol.
@@BrigzyFPV haha me too buddy, ots in my name lmao
its basic to imagine but makes more sense with this concept in mind. thaaaanks!
this stuff is like Gold man, awesome job!! 💯
Thanks!
love your videos! I seem to have stagnated with my flyin lately but your videos have given me the encouragement to push through it! thanks
Thanks!
Really awesome explanation! Having some music going while I fly has had a huge impact on my style. It makes it so much easier to keep a fluid pace.
Thanks! Music can definitely help you fly more artistically/musically.
Your tutorial are awesome i am learning a lot thanks
Thanks!
Nice tutorial and good analogy. Perhaps some tutorials on putting combo tricks together so that they flow would be good for a video.

Nice. You made approche to something very hard to explain in words. Very well explained. Thanks.
Thanks!

Thanks! Maybe at some point I'll try fly to a song.
this channel is amazing. Thanks for all this great content! I'm also a musician so appreciate where your thoughts are in comparing both hobbies!
Thanks!
Timmy RC not sure if you're into speed cubing but look ahead in flying is similar to look ahead in solving the Rubik's cube
@@DRTOLLZ Funny you mention that. I speedsolved Rubik's cubes for about 4 years.
Timmy RC nice! These hobbies must come together! What was your average. I'm right around 20 sec.
@@DRTOLLZ I had a 12 second average back in the day.
This was very well said! Awesome bro! 🤙🏽
