Got to admit. Ain't no state to state rivalry like California vs flordia.
Not sure you can call it a rivalry. I only know of 3 games. De La Salle vs Aquinas, Bosco vs Aquinas and IMG vs Mater Dei. In So Ca, we don't consider No Ca the same, Its almost like its a different State, Their playoff system is different. The only common thing is the Championship game and their season used to end a week before they played So Ca for the State Championship. They would get a weeks more rest and then play the winner of So Ca. So Ca teams have to play 15 games to win the State title. No Ca only plays 13 and sometimes 14.

Anybody who had two eyes saw that both defenses are elite. That being
said Re-al Mitchell is not good at QB, period. He went 3 for 11, threw 3
interceptions, and made a horrible audible call that potenially cost
Bosco some points. And the reason why those receivers were dropping the
catches was because Re-al threw them horribly so they boggled the ball.
The thing is, Re-al has to big of an ego so he won't change positions
but anybody can see that he could easily be a 4 star player anywhere
else. Bosco's backup QB is is the #1 QB in the class of 2019 but you
bench him instead. This happened last year too against Bishop Gorman. I
honestly felt Bosco had the players to compete with Gorman but Re-al
just froze under pressure and gave away that game with horrible
decisions. He needs his team to save him, if he was at a public school

Yall I'm up on cali football but IMG is in Florida so it's a Florida school. A lot of these prep schools get players from out of state. STA just get them out of Miami and fort Lauderdale. On the other side Cali has the most high schools in country outside of NYC so they should be good

Face it everywhere kids come and go in high school. Was this the best aquinas team? Most likely not. Same for Bosco. That being said it was a good game of inches and aquinas dug a little deeper for the win. I was surprised that Bosco matched up with that aquinas-florida foot speed

Just watched the Mater Dei vs Duncanville game. The hype states like Florida and Texas get is totally undeserving. This game wasn’t even a *blow out* , and St Thomas ended up ducking Bosco later on when their line up was stacked to play De La Salle. Mater Dei *slaughtered* Duncanville. They dominated STA offense all game! Bosco missed 3 fg attempts and was on the one yrd line twice with over 200 yrds. If u ask me, STA is lucky it went to OT and the ball had to start on the 10yrd line cuz they didn't ever pass the 50 yrd line bruh so don't talk like Cali wasn't ready cuz stats don't lie! one of the best St Thomas's defense I've seen. But that offense was pure pitiful. I'm not taking nothing away from St John Bosco defense, but that quarterback made him looks so much better. number 5 the running back is a linebacker by heart. I remember him playing for PPO and just hit sticking kids. this is not your Giovani Bernard's and Rashad offenses

Oscar Cardenas - Nah Gorman should of smashed STA but their offense was unusually sloppy asf and the Defense kept STA quiet the first half. STA only started doing something due to mistakes on Bishops offense which gave STA good field positions.

Oscar Cardenas Nope. The refs kept Aquinas around all game. I was there. Every time Gorman offense would roll, refs would call crazy personal foul calls that hindered their offense. Meanwhile Aquinas was ass on offense the entire game. Go back and watch, refs ended all of Gormans drives.
