I will be a full 4 months since gastric sleeve april 29th 2024. I started dieting a year ago and lost 45 lbs before sleeved and 55 lbs after surgery so far. My goal now is loosing 4 to 5 lbs a month. I am 12 lbs away from my surgeon goal for me with my body frame but I am about 40 lbs from my goal below 200 lbs. I struggled getting enough protiens since surgery so I took drastic matters in my hands and started weighing all food and fluids again like I did before surgery. I got my protien up to average 138 daily for past 2 weeks. Now I can work on the carbs and fat reduction. For I averaged 140 on carbs and 157 on fat past 2 weeks. My weight still dropped 2 lbs. I walk 4 miles without stopping every other day. And light resistance exercise and I am a hyperactive 68 year old retired man. Your food and recipes look and sound delicious. I am use to throwing a piece of meat and veggies in the oven and prop my feet up in recliner for 45 min. While it cooks. I tried prep meals and I like spontaneous of what I crave or want for day. Frozen califlower and brocille and carrots don't excite me like freshly cooked. Even I prepared beef.pork.chicken.fish. and I hath to be out of fresh meat before I grab and cook it I even have paks weight and protien carbs and fat wrote down on pak. I been widowed for 15 years guess ill have to find someone cook for me.

Those of you that have had VSG surgery, what do you eat? Does your surgeon and bariatric team have you eating certain macros and calories?
