    Get rid of the blue holders in the filter and fill it up with lava rock or some other media like lava rock. The sponge filter is a great idea. Use both.

    I setup a 55 gallon planted aquarium a few weeks ago. Still going through fishless cycle. Once the cycle is complete and I add fish I will share video of my aquarium as well.

    Good luck with this project, and as you explore, 'your knowledge will grow as will your followers. If I could give you any advice, it would be to learn about the needs of your fish and there is no better place than you tube to find this information out. I liked your editing skills both audio and visuals, 'plus you add your own flavour. so all in all well done.

    Ok I'm new in this hobby and I just add fish in the same day... They seem to be fine also with 100 percent water change every week

      I’ve have seen people do it. Me I’d like to wait at least 5 to seven days. I like to make sure there is beneficial bacteria throughout my aquarium. Thanks.

    Seachem best works with Seachem still with prime and stability if I were you and you wouldn’t have have to wait 2 weeks

    Nice Setup. The aquarium should be cycled before you put the fish in. You can also do a fish in cycle but you will have to do a lot of water changes to avoid any fish loss. Also it is better to keep the media in filter as there is constant water flow in the filter and it is a good place for the beneficial bacteria to grow.

      They did cycle the tank. They left it for 10 days before putting fish in.

      The BIO media which I took from another aquarium definitely has beneficial bacteria on it. I will be placing it in the filter when i change out the cartilage. I will be using a sponge filter. Right now there is no room. Also The aquarium was probably cycled and tested before I added my fish. Thanks.

    That red tailed shark is going to kill all the other fish in time,,he will harass to death and the clown loach is a schooling fish , you need a least 3 or 4,
    Tank looks good but fish NOT compatible

    • @aquatickeeper3356
      @aquatickeeper3356  ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually these fish have been living together for a few months before I added them to this aquarium. I will add another loach and I’ll definitely keep on eye on them. Thanks for you advice.
