Dr Karan Singh, the son of erstwhile Maharaja Hari Singh, the last ruling King of Jammu and Kashmir, and senior Congress leader spoke to ANI on June 20 as he completed 75 years in Indian politics and recalled his memories. Karan Singh mentioned that he has had the privilege of meeting all the Prime Ministers of India since independence. He added that, being older than the republic, he has witnessed the entire panorama of India's development.

It's great pleasure to see the veteran j&k ldr who has seen the entire gamut of pending annexation of j& K with Bharat. With due respect to him , why he did not oppose the separate constitution and a separate flag forJ& K when other states became integral to Bharat?It's intrigung!

You maybe old, but thay alone doesnt mean you have all the answers. Kashmir is going in the right direction. Just because dome religion are intolerant doesnt mean we have to surrender to them.

In Kashmir Maintained Close Relation With Kashmiri Hindus Prior To Migration,But After Brutal , Devastated And Forced Migration This Relationship Was Not Seen.He Despite Knowing What Happened To Kashmiri Hindus In Kashmir During The years Of 1947,1967,1986 And Complete Death And Destruction in 1989 After Rigging Of Election.

If it was a balanced, peaceful state, why didn't J&K make progress, why did Pundits leave in 1990s. If it was all honky dory, why common Kashmiris remained backward and why there was dissent among young people. A false narrative by a family patriarch, hand in glove with Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis, responsible for current problems be it economic backwardness and social issues. What's Karan Singh's contribution as Minister in Congress governments in developing and integrating Kashmir with the rest of India? All talk and no work.
