    I love those rail buggies. They still put on a good show. They got all this off road hill climbing started in the sixties and seventies. It's about being light weight and weight distribution. Also a good driver. Thanks for sharing.

    Looks like it's a lot hill climbing for the camera man. Thanks for sharing the good times. Everyone wants to beat the hill but you have to hit it just right to do what most never will. It's fun as long as no one gets hurt.

      Growing up in the mid-west I always wondered why woods buggies were called sand rails hahaha... now that I’ve lived all over I can honestly say they are more popular in the woods these days than the dunes.

    Are any of these comparable to a 1600 dual port vw motor I'm looking at getting one just seeing if it would be capable of medium offloading on trails

    • @sefwqer34
      @sefwqer34 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      All of those are over a 1600 most I doubt anything less than a 1915. I would almost bet most are 2275 or more. I have had plenty of fun on a 1600. You break a lot less parts. You can’t play on the big hills like these but you can still do trail riding and have a good time. I have a 2387 now and at times had more fun with my 1600.
